PLACE CRETE SYSTEMS

A typical day at work was extremely unorganized and unproductive 
I believe I learned the fundamentals of concrete restoration and waterproofing 
Management has gone downhill poorly bid jobs and are running themselves out of work
Workplace culture was a lot of toxic people throwing each other under the bus and trying to get the other person lower or fired for their benefit lots of fights between coworker physical and social 
Hardest part of the job was breaking bags on gypcrete with a bad crew 
Most enjoyable part of the job is waterproofing 

The guys you work with on a daily basis are awesome. The management is horrible. They constantly overbook jobs for little money so you are working 60-80hr a week. And it's never good enough. Never got a thank you or a good job after finishing a job, just straight to the next. Also no overtime until after 56hrs a week.
 Great job if you don't have a life or responsibilities outside of work.

They like cheap workers, thus don't like giving raises, and they'll find any reason not to give you one. They don't pay overtime until after 10hrs, and deduct money from your cheques to pay for your benefits. They'll thank you for your hard work by having barbecues paid for by your bottle money. You can do so much better almost anywhere else, so why waste your time living in poverty for these people?

Wide variety of tasks, all of which are physically demanding. Can have extremely long hours and lots of time working out of town. This job toughened me up and drove a strong work ethic into me.

This is a an absolutely awful place to work its unorganized management is absolutely abusive have unreasonable expectations on both production and the hours you are expected to work the wages are terrible 

A toxic enviroment due to management and the control problem they think they have over anybody employed within their company.  The constant control and yelling lead to a miserableday almost daily.

Long hours working outdoors year round in extreme conditions at times.  Anyone can learn great technical and mechanical skills while being paid to work at Place-Crete.

Excellent work with opportunities to advance. Pay was the way it should be everywhere...you work hard you'll get a raise....if you slack you won't last long. 

good if you like money bad if you want to have basic human rights and freedoms the ownership is a joke who hire externally but will tell you the promote from within

nice place to work and learn... great team working atmosphere and clean shop. nice crew, good company owner and also outline of work is made available for labourers everymorning
