Liberty of schedule gives us the opportunity to manage all our time to complete all our tasks.

Many training sessions have been available, but not much on the purchasing side. Being taken out of the participation at the ISC is a very big miss. The ISC is a very good opportunity for the RIM position in many dimensions: training sessions, team building and bonding with peers, meeting vendors and increasing relations when the time comes to do our job—all this at the same place and the same time.

Opportunities to grow are thin in the procurement field. Looking forward to being a SR RIM if the opportunity is offered to me. 

My managers are doing a fantastic job. I feel that I work with him more as a team than a boss looking over your shoulder all the time.

Being on the Canada Corp, we sometimes have the feeling of being a part of what is going on on the US side.  We felt excluded.

Overall, I like working for Poolcorp and am proud to be part of the team.

Unqualified regional position made work harder then it needed to be.  The higher up the less you know and the less you do.  Promotions are not based on being earning the position but how much you bend over.  Never trust a big company like this they treat you like you are nothing and use you to improve the company but someone above you will be scared that you are improving the location and will want you gone because they are unqualified.  A lot of people will sit around and be liked while the hard workers will work away for bad wages.

Probably one the most chaotic dysfunctional eestablishments I've worked at. No one in management has a single clue what they're doin and ride on a small percentage of people to get the job done. I was a fulltime reciever and had no help and was expected to manage and organize all incoming shipments with no help or space to work with. It was next to impossible to keep up with the work load they put on me there. It's not worth the pay or stress they put you through.

This is a terrible place to work. Management uses the branch as a piggy bank, taking product and writing it out of inventory. If you are a manager you don’t do anything or even show up for work make the rest of the people take care of the place. When you don’t know something and you ask a question you get told to figure it out. Don’t waste your time with them especially Brantford.

Employees would routinely smoke right at the door to the warehouse or even inside if "just grabbed a skid for the truck". No safety training on handling the chemicals. No safety gear for handling hazardous chemicals. Management did not care when concerns were brought up.

In the summer it is chaos from the time the doors open till they close. Nobody works as a team and the attitude with the staff is atrocious. The most enjoyable part of the job is going home.  

If you want to see your family and have a life this is not the place for you. Be prepared to work every Saturday and long hours in busy season. The customers are rude self entitled babies, your coworkers are ignorant and unwilling to actually learn anything. They do not pay well and refuse to give decent raises and never recognize people for their accomplishments.

Not to bad of a place to work I did out last all manangent busy in the summer slow in the winter days go very fast in the summer and very slow in the winter

Great sales Manager at this location. Easy work if you know shipping an receiving. Very relaxed until many contractors come in for their orders. Then rush to pick the orders. Off season very slow. 

Long hours with high expectations. Teamwork can be lacking, as some coworkers do not pull their weight, which puts extra pressure on others. Hard work and extra effort often go unrecognized, leading to feeling underappreciated for contributions made.
