This company is completely unorganized and has a negative employee culture with a high staff turnover.  Extremely hostile work environment.  Staff moral is very low, wages are barely competitive which makes retaining tradesmen impossible.  Benefits are not competitive.  
Technicians required to be on call for minimal pay.  Hiring/firing  practices are unethical - unqualified people are hired until someone more suitable is found - then let go.  Unqualified people have relocated families and unethically laid off or fired when a more qualified technician is found.  
Managers are unprofessional and contribute to poor staff moral with gossip and creating drama.  Bully employees.  Constant staff meetings to address poor staff moral.  Two managers constantly undermining Senior Operations Manager with gossip and pettiness, resulting in a divided workforce.  
Staff can't maintain positive customer relations because it is micro-managed and friends of managers take precedence over customer emergencies.  
Numerous customer complaints contribute to a stressful work environment.

Trucks are in disrepair supervisors and managers are very unorganized and there employees act in an unprofessional manner while at work. You’ll be asked to paint and and then you’ll be in trouble for all the overspray workers will fail to help you and actually make your job harder than it should be they will only book one in a hotel room for two people to share. If there’s anything you need to complete a task, you are most likely not get it in a timely manner, if at all, and lots of yelling and horse playing in a huge lack of inexperience and incompetence with the other members of the group.  You will see dangerous, forklift, drivers, using Tele handler. They use apps for tracking time and other things however, no one wants to participate. No washroom or sink available at the shop to wash your hands and do your business. Doors are left on unlocked and your stuff could be stolen, as well as very minimal tools provided leads to sharing your personal tools a little too much very toxic environment for working.

I had the pleasure of working with Patrick Sprack Limited as an estimator, and I can't say enough good things about my experience there. The company fostered a truly collaborative team atmosphere that made every day a pleasure to come to work.

What stood out the most was the incredible level of support I received from my colleagues and supervisors. Whenever I had questions or needed assistance with a project, there was always someone willing to lend a helping hand. This level of support not only made me feel valued as an employee but also helped me grow and excel in my role.

In summary, my time as an estimator at Patrick Sprack Limited was a fantastic experience. The collaborative team, supportive colleagues, and friendly environment made it a place where I thrived professionally and looked forward to coming to work each day. I would highly recommend this company to anyone seeking a positive and fulfilling work experience.

Fast paced work environment with a wide variety of work and no shortage of work.

Expect to be assigned jobs within your skill set which becomes your responsibility to compete. No micromanaging here, however at your request you will have any and all support you require be it materials and equipment or support from other techs. 

There are positions for experienced techs and those who want to learn the commercial/industrial field alike. 

PSL provides a challenging and rewarding work environment with compensation to match. Small details like never being shorted on a pay and always being paid on time reflect the value this company places on it technicians. 

Like others before me many promises of lots of work but The fact is the owner is a great sales person. I honestly think he believes he is getting every job he quotes. I was for wormed by one of the managers at a mine site I should of had my written contract reviewed by a lawyer but shrugged it off. Lesson learned for future job  Hunters. Great place to work if your single and want to see the landscape. Morals not need as the team away from home play around on there partners and if your not part of that your out. Just a sleazy overall place to work. I’ve seen schedules change and staff left to get home at their own expenses including the cost of a cab to the airport. Good luck

PSL was a terrific place to work. Spent most of my time in the office where there is a great culture and collaborative environment. Managers are very patient, supportive and are genuinely interested in employee development.  Field technicians were also really easy to work with and were communicative and easy going on site. If you are a driven individual who can handle a dynamic workplace you will be given the opportunity to grow and succeed. 

This place sucks.  High employee turnover, guys are always fighting.  No job secuirty not garanteed 40 hours and always sent home.  Can't budget for family life.  Office people are worste for fighting and gossip.  Account Manager has many complaints but company does nothing.  Jobs aren't scheduled properly so lots of customer complaints on job sites.

Worst company ever! Management needs a complete overhaul. ZERO communication between one another even though they're physically close to each other in the office. The level of laziness and lack of experience is unmatched.
Some are power-tripping hard and some are only there because they're friends with the owner(s).
I cannot recommend working here.

i have worked for this company for 4 and a half years and have seen a lot of growth over the last 6 months.  there has been a re-organization and the team work between all the departments is 100% now and everybody is working to grow the company so the work environment has gone way up.

Not guaranteed work.  Too many people for the work that is available.  
Managers pick favourites.  If you weren't sucking up, don't expect to be picked for available jobs. 
No open communication.  Unless you ask, you  won't be told what projects are coming up.
Super disorganized.
