This is a good place to work. I left them for a higher paying job and returned a year later because the stress level is minimal and there are more things I like than dislike about this company. It's not toxic to me. I only focus on my job/duties and not much of anything else, so there is little time to engage in anything else, which is what I love about this place. Its predictable and designed for employees to be productive. Their system is the best I have seen in a plumbing company (and I have worked for three). I have found the 2 CEOs to be approachable; I work directly under one and he's very laid-back and always listens to my ideas. He always asks my input.  As a minority, I feel safe and protected in this company. No complaints there. It's very multicultural here.

After multiple years of stressful jobs, it is a relief to work in this company because I  don't bring any baggage home from Pac West.

I go to work, I do my 8 hours and I leave for the day. Nothing colorful ever happens, and that's the way I like it.

They even buy cake and food for employees leaving to honour them. It's not the worse place I have ever worked and is actually one of the better ones. 

If you're considering a job at Pacific West Mechanical, be prepared for a mixed bag. Compensation is above average for the industry, and that’s likely why many employees stay. However, the work environment can be emotionally draining.

The office culture is unprofessional; swearing and belittling coworkers are common, and there is little accountability. Employees often talk openly about leaving, exploring other opportunities, even during work hours. When issues are brought up to management, the usual response is to “just stay positive” instead of addressing root causes.

If you thrive in a strong, respectful team culture, this may not be the right fit. But if you’re focused on pay and can tune out the background noise, it might serve as a temporary stepping stone.

High-pressure environment with little to no recognition. Mistakes are emphasized and remembered far longer than consistent good work. Terrible work life balance and average wages for the stressful work you do make it not worth it in the long run as it wears you down physically and mentally, kills your energy and makes you hate going to work . Also this company has no loyalty to you and employment here is a revolving door .  Also the cherry on top is a toxic highschool like vibe that exists here .

I would not work for this company. They do not appreciate their employees and there is no culture. It is an extremely negative environment and management has no clue how to deal with people or give feedback in wholistic approach. There is no flexibilty for anything and also nepotism. People are manipulative and will stab you in the back also there is no room for growth. avoid at all costs for your sanity. 

So far all of my co-workers have been very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.
Management has been excellent as well.
Hard work and positive reviews get acknowledged at quarterly meetings and via occasional e-mail.
I feel appreciated and challenged but never overwhelmed.

The revolving door tells you everything about this company and the terrible management. Do not work here. FYI. The "company events" are basically mandatory. Also, they pay you a lot to keep you there. It isn't worth it.
