What is the best part of working at the company?
I would not recommend working here. The overall experience has been very disappointing. Management shows clear bias toward immigrant workers, which creates an uncomfortable and unfair work environment. There is little to no proper training provided, so employees are often left to figure things out on their own without guidance.

There is also no real opportunity for career growth or advancement. It feels like a dead-end job with no support for development. On top of that, the company frequently lays off employees, which creates constant job insecurity.

Honestly, the management does not seem to have a clear idea of what they are doing, and this lack of direction affects the entire workplace. Overall, it is not a stable or supportive place to build a career.


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Apart from the physically demanding 10-hour shifts and mandatory overtime, the most stressful part of working here is the workplace culture, especially the treatment of immigrant employees. There appears to be a clear bias, where skilled and qualified immigrants are often overlooked, while less qualified non-immigrant employees receive promotions and better opportunities. This creates a very discouraging and unfair environment, making it difficult to feel valued or motivated at work.

The work environment is challenging and often feels unsupportive. There is a noticeable lack of proper training, which makes it difficult for new employees to adjust and perform confidently. Communication from management is inconsistent, and expectations are not always clear.

The overall culture can feel discouraging, especially due to concerns about fairness and equal treatment among employees. Many workers do not feel valued, and morale tends to be low. Combined with frequent layoffs and limited opportunities for growth, it creates an unstable and stressful workplace rather than a positive, team-oriented environment.


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day involves physically demanding work, including heavy lifting, long hours of standing, and frequent bending. Employees are often required to use power tools while working on assembly lines that can feel unsafe at times.

Another major challenge is the lack of consistency in instructions—blueprints and FA models often contradict each other, which leads to confusion and frequent rework on previous projects. This not only slows down productivity but also adds to the overall frustration and stress of the job.

The best part about working at this company is the pay
If you don’t have the same opinion as a supervisor don’t care also they favour certain employees over others. They make you feel like Then they pull it away from you. I do not recommend working for this company.

the most stressful part of this job is making sure that we have all the parts for each job which we never do. Everything always goes on hold.

trying to fix mistakes from the other shift and trying to find all the proper parts for each job

Nothing horrible place to work! They treat people horrible

The supervisors the way they speak to people and treat people

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Unsafe and horrible abusive the allow people to threaten people and nothing every does anything to stop it! Higher management calls people stupid 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Long and nothing organized no training, nothing has good quality!

I had a wonderful experience working at this establishment. Unfortunately I was going through some health issues (I only worked there for 3 months) but, the people were so kind, they trained me well, the hours (overtime too if you want it) were good and so was the pay!! Management was also very accommodating for example he asked us if we wanted sit or stand desks and had them built to our liking. 100% recommend this workplace. 



If you enjoy a different challenge within your day to day this is a fantastic place to work. PakFab always ensures all employees feel welcomed and invited as I felt that since my first day working. If you're just starting your career PakFab is a wonderful place to get an understanding of how a business is conducted. Finally, management were great with introducing the role to me, making it challenging enough where my day to day is busy but not overwhelmed.

Some Equipment could of been updated.

It was a good environment.  Didn't dread going to work.

Had Your own work area. Set up for job. Work on it til job was finished.

It would be really Rich if management figured out that one person in particular was responsible for all the talented and experienced people either quitting or being wrongfully dismissed over the last couple years.  Pakfab is in the stone age of fabrication because of this one person, it's not worth trying to make a career here, you are better off somewhere else unless you are friends & family of the owner and then able to do whatever you want at the country club.

The company has a fast-paced work environment that challenges you to be your best every single day. The work is rewarding and you will feel like you are making a difference every day. Senior management is supportive and fosters an environment that encourages continuous growth & development. It is truly the people at this company that make it an amazing place to work. I would highly recommend PakFab to anyone looking for a dynamic and fulfilling work experience.

They pay pretty decent at first, however once you get to know their "Leadership Team" the pay no longer seems to match the headache you need to deal with daily. Narcissistic Manager who treats staff poorly. Poor leadership overall. No direction or support. No training. High Turnover.  I would not recommend working here. Favoritism like I have never seen before, if they don't like you for any reason watch out. The health benefits are useless.

I really enjoyed my work at pakfab. I was an Assemblier but also learnt how to weld. I had a really fun time with all my coworkers. The work can be a bit tough, hard, and really repetitive at times but still enjoyable if you’re working with another coworker.  I made life-time friendships!!! It’s a really great workplace!
