Having worked for tiny Sole Proprietorship's to Large Multinational Corporations this working environment is the absolute best. 
The company is large enough for onward and upward growth and small enough to know everyone and having a family culture. Performance is inspired. 
Performance is rewarded.
Family comes first. 
Everyone gives their all to their career because they know the company, affectionately called the “panmily”, also gives all. 
Family and personal emergencies are treated as top priority. 
After each highly efficient work day, the office is cleared out by 5pm. 
Senior Management is highly ethical / moral and approachable.

Pan Pacific Pet is a good stepping stone to better opportunities. They will give you the opportunity to grow and do what you love; however be weary of the workplace culture. Work hard and try to keep to yourself. 

Management seems nice at first, but you will start to the ugly side of management after working there for a few months. Some of the management are inconsiderate to the feelings of others and are to quick to overlook your accomplishments. Because of this, you will not be able to receive a decent pay raise. Staff are not rewarded monetarily. The only thing you'll see in terms of a reward is a pat on the back.

Honestly a lovely place to work. Having worked for a big multi national company for 8 yrs and receiving nothing but grief and abuse this small company is like a family. You aren't treated like a number, Christmas is a festive and fun filled time. Would 100 % recommend Pan if you're a good, steady conscientious worker.
A huge plus is the ability to bring your dog in, usually we take turns and everyone loves to see your pet. 
Management are lovely down to earth and chill but serious when needs must.

I had worked at the Balzac location for ~2.5 years, and I have very few negatives to point out. The employees are incredible to work with, the managers are respectful and open to conversation while offering support. Pay was good too, given the demand and responsibility of the position. 
The work itself wasn't super demanding, the overall tempo typically wasn't high either.

Overall, this has been my favourite job that I've worked at. 

Did not enjoy working there, management cares very little about their employees, paying minimum wage for heavy lifting work worth at least $18-19 per hour, yet they get mad and fire you with little warning at the first sign of dragging your feet regardless of the reason

Not impressed.  Proper training was not given.  Lack of communication between supervisor and employee.  Lack of respect for others with foul language by management & supervisors.

The upper management team & owner make their employees feel like family.  Fun events provide opportunities to bond with coworkers.  Mix of WFH and in-office depending on role and location.  A thriving & stable industry to work in.

Management likes job done their way, they need to like you to be successful, your job doesn’t count if they don’t like you. Lack of leadership and trust. They need to approve everything before it can be actioned.

Great, family run company. Really cares and supports their employees. Focus on work / life balance. Many perks and employee focused activities. Regular reviews of salaries and bonuses. 

The people who worked there where good people and no one made you feel like you weren't welcomed. The hours weren't bad for getting up and working from 7:00 to 3:30.
