Pantorama

I enjoyed work at Pantorama for almost six months, I had great customers that help me to develop my selling skills. 
A typical work day was cleaning and sizing the store, welcome every customer and help them to create an out fit, find presents for other people and suggest the right kind of jeans for their body type.
The store manager was not the best, schedules were posted at the middle of every week for the next, creating some problems with personals schedules. I became friends with all my co-workers in a short time, and they also helped me with my sales.
The hardest part of the job was having always night shifts, because of my school scehdule, and making sales was hard, because of the few people that actually shop at night.
The most enjoyable part was the reward that most of the customer gave me for my help. It was always nice to receive a nice comment about my work.

Always stayed busy. Washed the floors, did till count, opened the store, called people for interviews. Learned what it would take to be a manager, and learned how to manage my time and redo the store. Th hardest part of the job was that the assistant manager and the manager were constantly in a rival about who would be the better manager, and we had to pick sides. If they both were working at the same time and one tells someone to do something the other would get mad and say they asked you first which would result in you getting yelled at or in trouble. The enjoyable part of working here that we mostly were a team and like a big family. Everyone was nice and usually helped out when needed. Friendly staff, an awesome head office, and would still be working here if the store did not close down.

I worked here 9 days for sales associate.
After my 5 days formation the manager cut me off 3 days out of 7  the next weeek because ''there was not enought client and there was trouble in the administration.
I was hired for part time ( 20 hours or less), so it was pretty weird...
So basically i worked 4 days and i made 300 $ of sales so i tought eveything was nice !
Then the same manager fired me (on the tellephone after cutting my day off the day before) because i did not satisfied the quota of sales !!!!

I STILL NOT HAVE MY FIRST PAY AND I DONT THINK THEY WILL PAY ME MY WASTE OF TIME ::S

I loved working at Pantorama so much, I was always excited to go to work and know who I'm going to work with. I never felt uncomfortable around anybody. Everybody who worked there was very welcoming and it was my favourite job I had in comparison to my other jobs. The clothes were very good quality, and I loved my discounts.

Great Company, great Clothing and rewarding experience . This is where I learned how to build confidence in my team to achieve their goals, and keep their position within the company and this ensured a winning team, great shrinks, great morale, and determination , motivation to satisfy our loyal happy customers.

Horrible place to work, they dont care about the individual or their mental health. They only care about money. Poorly managed from head office, stuck in the 90s for internal communications. Poor manager that treats staff unfairly through favouritism.While the people were lovely to work with, this is simply a company that has no regard for bad days/have human issues. I do not and never will encourage someone to work here.

Very outgoing co-workers and management. A very fun place to be, enjoyable working conditions. Being around customers made my day every shift. The most diffcult part of the job would be doing alot of work for little pay. I have learned how to deal with customers in all types of situations. I have also learned how to better deal with though situations. 

I've worked in 1850 for 1 year. It's a really strict and face-pace workplace. You have to sell clothes and meet your objectives (sales) on your shift. I always felt like the managers weren't understanding on their employees. You could get fired if you don't sell. Your hours are also affected by your sales. You get no commission on your sales. 

Learned how to be a competitive sales associate, grow, and develop communication skills.Wonderful environment to be apart of but could use a more structured day plan. Needs a manager with excellent team building skills and positive reinforcement. The most enjoyable part of the day with the interaction with customer.

I worked there for a year. At the beginning it was great. They give you a sale class as well as explaining their products. But you have sales number that they expect you to reach. Which would be fine except for the fact that you make no money from commission. They are quick to fired people who cant make their numbers.
