Paper Delivery

It is an easy job as all I have to do is make the news papers and deliver  them but I am not getting paid enough. It really taught me how to persevere and be determined and overcome hardships and rude people as you encounter them on a daily basis. Hardest part of the job is going to collect my money from the people every three weeks, that is the hardest part as the people are rude and disrespectful, it is also hard as I have to go to each house and ring the door bell and not always do people open and I have to keep going back to their house. Most enjoyable part of the job is delivering the newspaper.

A typical day at work would be getting ready to deliver newspapers to our neighbors. What i had learned was that if we put the hard effort into working, at the end of the day it would be worth it. My manager was really friendly. My co-workers were my family who helped me in organizing the flyers into the newspapers. The hardest part of the job was leaving it. The most enjoyable part of it was actively going outside and delivering the newspapers at the residents house.

i have really enjoyed my time there as a paper boy and would consider it to be a family environment.
the work of a paper boy is not really difficult but its so rewarding when people come to the door and greet you and thank you for delivering their papers on time, it is a heart-warming sensation and its a real moral booster.

I work Thursdays. I get the bundle inserts between Tuesday and Wednesdays. The advocates come around 9:30 am on Thursdays and that's when i start putting them together and deliver them. Overall it is a really easy job but, the pay wasn't enough to support my bills. It's more of a transitioning job.

Each week I would make time to work on my packing and sort 360 items and make them into 37 neat sets containing a newspaper, and many magazines/flyers.

a typical day was easy, getting the papers and putting them in the right order, it takes time and must be delivered on time and on that day no matter the weather. great job for kids

Bad hours. Bad conditions, alot of work for a small pay.
Enjoyed getting able to branch off into a new direction and to explore my options.
