Paradise LeisureScapes is an okay place to work. I was hiring for a full-time, permanent position. I was super excited to work there! The customers are regular, so you get to know their first and last names by heart which I love to make personal connections with customers! 
The management was poor, they did their job correctly and supported employees like they should. But when I was first hired, I was told the Retail Associates only dealt with the customers and the water lab. When I started, the supervisor of the retail employees told me that we dealt with much more. It was so hard to deal with customers, the till, water station, parts, service, etc. There are people who are hiring to specifically help customers with parts and such. But when you ask them to help, they tell you to go get the Supervisor to help you. Meanwhile, there was 3 of us who were new that week and did not know much. The supervisor is the only one who knows everything. The service/parts people were rude, and did not excel their job properly. They also tried to make me stay till 9pm every night to call back customers, when I worked hours 8:45am-5:45pm that day.

I would not recommend working here, unless you like the rude co workers and a very stressful environments.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Other workers can be good for the most part.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Everything. There's no accountability, managers will blame other departments and people do not talk with each other. Managers are sleeping with the boss and makes it for a work place that people at the top when they mess up they are not held accountable for there actions and blame gets put on the person at the bottom of the totem pole.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Its like your in high-school, very clicky...

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Being over worked. Told it will be an 8hr day and it turns into a 14hr day.

Arrive at work, always good mornings. Catch up with co-workers about our evenings. Discuss the work orders that are left over from day before, and then prioritize and distribute the service calls for the day. Every day I learn new things. Learn to diagnose and repair new problems. I believe the hardest part of the job is working in the extreme temperature changes. The most enjoyable part of the job would be the customers. The appreciation that they show is great. It sure makes for a great day. 
Management is very easy to communicate with and I find it easy to approach them under any circumstance.

I can’t say much bad about it as a place to work.

Training is good, management are incredibly flexible and understanding. Some of the best management I’ve seen in a work environment in a long time.

I think the biggest thing is not enough staff for all departments. There’s a lot of knowledge base and if you can catch on, it’s great, but some people don’t at all, and it’s tough for them to keep up. 

Communication amongst Various departments could be improved. But they do cover ALOT of clientele, so it’s forgivable. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Learning new things and having new experiences 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The customers attitude and complete lack of support from staff/management. You are expecting to be screamed at with a smile on your face.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Long term employees are very team oriented with each other but exclude others very quickly.

Working here was ok but they are stuck in the 90's to early 2000's with how they manage the backend which will get old fast. 

Some of the management was good working here I was very confused on who to talk to or listen to as the owner, HR and my manager didn't seem to talk to each other and often told me different things. 

Overall I didn't mind working here but it is definitely just a place for a job nothing more. 


What can I say. The staff are absolutely amazing. Every single one of them. Love the culture and the closeness there. Once you start working for them you're basically joining a family. Lots of good opportunities and the management is absolutely awesome. Never thought I'd leave a 5 star for any retail job but Paradise is Paradise. 

It's a good summer job, went to different locations in order to maintain different outdoor pools and spas, I enjoyed the work culture, and got along with my manager, hardest part was finding a washroom through out the day.

Paradise was an awesome experience. Everyone on the landscaping crew was so nice and helpful and really knew their stuff. Days went by quick due to the kindness and easy going crew who were quick to help if you didnt know what to do. Nothing but good things to say!

They hairs your for the summer and keep the employees that work hard until about a week left in the season and then they make up a reason to be able to fire you. This is by far the worst place I have ever worked for in my life.
