Company appears to have there stuff together from the outside but once you are in you see the cracks in the foundation and realize its barely holding on.

had 3 bad experiences with this company 2 of which were mine 1 of which was my fathers.

Each experience had the same problem bad upper management decision making and poor site supervision due to a lack of support and training.

the pay was good as it should be expected for union but this company will setup workers and field supervisors to fail if you are not careful from what I have seen.

workers are fine nothing to complain about there except the odd outlier.

good equipment, make a good show out of setting up a work site.

Organization of of skilled persons delighted to balance crews or specific tasks

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Criticism of management without putting forth concerns for possible streamlined practice. Which could also be addressed through encouragement to speak up

No complaints. Better than most

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It's work but generally good people to work with make the day pass smoothly l

You can’t talk to anyone in the “house”, as they are either related, or close family friends.  certain departments receive bonus, while others don’t.  So if you have an issue, you have to keep tight lipped…. Makes for a tough work environment.

Management is terrible, they lie, don’t communicate with their employees.  Upper management don’t even know who you are… 
No perks.. oh yeah.. terrible soup… and boring menu… only suited for the upper management,

Safety is terrible, never see them in the field, shop or in the yard.  Again, friends of the management… 



I balance between project management and estimating every day. I am currently running 2 jobs under $500,000 each. My biggest project management challenge are making sure that my guys on site have work to accomplish and keeping on top of the client for releases. Estimating is time consuming and a very detail oriented process in order to make sure that once jobs are awarded the transition from budget to earned values is clean.

I learned a lot about safety in poor weather condition. I learned that management can be extremely difficult when to many people are not supervised in a sufficient manner. I also learned to relate to people from many different countries and cultures. For me the hardest part of the job was the weather conditions. I found the most enjoyment in the job the completion of a work area with a job well done and going home with no injuries and being able to enjoy my earnings.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The people I currently work with are very kind and hard working, well maybe not all hardworking but all are kind and that makes me work twice as hard to complete the tasks that we are assigned

No stress no problems no issues

Work hard, work until the end of the day

Park Derochie Inc. was my first "real job" out of high school. Despite working there for 3 years and multiple requests for advancement and professional growth, nothing came. 

I know many people who have gone many places with their positions at PD Inc. but unfortunately I did not. 

I ended up leaving to pursue other opportunities for growth.

Great pay, supportive team, and excellent management make this company a fantastic. The position offers excellent pay, and I'm part of a supportive team with effective management. Working here is a pleasure, as I appreciate the positive atmosphere and collaborative spirit. This company provides a fulfilling work experience that combines competitive compensation with a great team and strong leadership.

Management worried about there jobs. Management are not very knowledgeable. If you know more than management you won't be working. Management isn't going to write my paycheck. I would starve. Make more money and way less stress working elsewhere. Just very arrogant management for not being knowledgeable in the industrial painting trade. Most of the great tradesman don't work here. 

My day is varied and challenging, which has led to a lot of learning and career advancement. I think there has been some struggles in the company with covid and the economic impact of that, but that is not a unique thing. In fact, I've seen some competitors go out of business during this time. Expectations are high, but so are the rewards.
