Absolutely garbage company to work for. Management seems to actively work against their staff at every opportunity. The Day Services program is basically just toileting clients, feeding clients, then toileting clients, and feeding clients for 7 hours a day. The company  protects managers that harass staff, even when they have concrete evidence that harassment has occurred. As a whole, Human Resources has absolutely zero idea how to operate as a human resource representative. 
If you are just entering the DSW field, PIP is not a good place to gain any experience as they do not teach staff new skills - unless it’s surrounding client hygiene routines. If you are experienced in the DSW field, you will actually feel a regression in your skills due to never using them. 
Working in a residence can be a blessing if you are fortunate enough to be placed in a home with a good team. 


There's an illusion at PiP of wanting to be a welcoming, supportive workplace. But like many companies, they fall short. They do not practice what they preach, though at times, it seems they'd like to. The all mighty dollar wins out since at the end of the day this is not a not for profit company. 
There are plenty other organizations that pay considerably better and will treat you exactly the same way. 
It's hard not to get sucked in with the glossy, perky exterior, but you find out soon enough that they do not value their employees and supportive is not within their vocabulary in relation to staff. 
Being in social work is hard enough with burn out always a possibility, don't take a job with a place that isn't in the least supportive.

Very clique, they make the rules up as they go and if management doesn’t like you (often for no reason) they will make your life miserable, constantly write you up for Broken rules that don’t exists. Management style is very much, do as I say not as I do. Manger is all over the place and when she messes up, it’s your fault. Don’t ever get sick or hurt because they will target you or yell at you or make you feel like garbage. They pay the minimum and they never give raises. Will make you choose between your family and your job during a family emergency.There’s no support from managers, she will often cause the client to aggressive then walk away and leave you to manage it and get hit.

Management is very closed off; they rarely listen to staff feedback and seem more interested in pointing fingers at employees than actually solving the issues at hand. There is also a major lack of transparency regarding career growth, as they don't post all available positions, making it feel like a "who you know" environment rather than a merit-based one. If you’re looking for a workplace that values honest communication and accountability from the top down, you might want to look elsewhere.

I used to work 12 hour shifts and if I took a break I would have to make up for it after my shift was over. There is also no set pay scale. Everyone gets paid differently so make sure you bargain in the beginning. 

I learned a lot and loved the kids and some of the staff but management was very rude to anyone they weren't good friends with. I was eventually bullied out the door like many others who worked there.

I have worked for three other agencies and this one was, by far, the worst.

Very stressful. There is definitely favoritism at this company

Partners in Parenting overworks their staff, and places high demands while paying below market wages. Raises are infrequent and wages do not go up in annually in line with inflation. Management is disorganized, and doesn't utilize their employees' knowledge base. Mangers at times abuse their power towards certain employees. Co-workers are all very nice as are the clients that attend and live with Partners and Parenting.

The pay is not good so they hire who ever is willing to be underpaid. As a result the quality of workers is very poor. You work with people who have no ethics nor professionalism. There was too much beaconing  among staff, between staff and supervisors it is unbelievable and management did nothing. Management talks about supporting employees  that's about it they don't walk the talk.

There was a staff that had witnessed abuse allegations against them.  Instead of investigating or acting they sent the person to a different home to work at.

They also fired an amazing supervisor who constantly advocated for the we’ll being of the residents.  They then gave my coworker all the management responsibilities and did not pay a management wage

There is barely any communication with management. They don’t tell you much information. You find out through other staff/clients telling you rather than management. Get asked to work more hours on your days off. They make you feel bad if you say no to shifts. Get paid just over min wage.
