Patrick Mechanical has some talented workers and front line supervisors. The biggest hurtle to working there is the management group. Unfortunately they don’t value their employees nor do they compensate them with industry standards. The management has no clear direction on where the company is currently or where it’s headed. There is plenty of misguided micromanagement & as mid level management you will have no opportunity to bring forth any meaningful change. During my time with PML I must have witnessed 20+ employees leave due to the lack of communication & safety. The company is heavily lacking a modern take on technology. You will be working on old spreadsheets & ancient phones. The shop is unorganized & would fail any ministry visit due to the hazards & lack of working conditions. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
I got no training and no guidance despite of that I got laid off couple days before Christmas

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not having proper training and being thrown to den without any tools

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Not very good. Everyone is more focused on themselves than work as a team

I gained a lot of experience during my short time at Patrick Mechanical.
The people I worked with were awesome and I felt that my concerns were heard by management. 
The only downside was trying to manage a work-life balance. I was working two-weeks on, and one-week off. During my days off, I was frequently scheduled for training which took away time from resting and being with family. 

This place doesn’t know if it’s coming or going. It’s held together by couple people with money who don’t actually do any of the work., and bunch of office people who couldn’t do the work. Terrible contracts, no job security, all their experienced workers leave or have left.

Sorry but this was the worst place and the most negative environment i Have ever worked so i would not like to give a review because it will be negative. If i would have listened to some people i would not be in my situation. All other places were great places to work.

A good company to work for! Patrick Mechanical ensures that any project is approached and completed using the highest levels of expertise and workmanship.

A place to potentially start but absolutely horrible leadership group and management, if your not in the group/click of potential lifers then prepare to be treated unfairly. Would be great to see bigger companies hire less experienced people to give them a proper start in there Career.

Hotel rooms are low budget and you have to share them

Everyone at PML treats you like family. We all help each other out and encourage team building. It's a friendly and positive work environment. There are multiple events the company has yearly, such as the PML picnic and BBQ lunches on Friday's.

They are only looking for TFWs to keep their price of labour down.  They would be able to compete with the union if the management smartened up.  Very dangerous work and safety culture is non existent
