Positives:
+ Management as a whole work really hard to have a culture of positivity.  I don't mean that in a culty "smile 24/7" way but as in we are a team working towards our collective success and can only accomplish that with a combined effort.  The company is undergoing a rapid growth phase and the opportunity (and workload) are there for anyone wanting to take part.  If you like to take initiative, this is the job for you.  If you prefer to be delegated to or to have a narrow set of tasks, you may be disappointed.
+ Upper management have a surprisingly open door towards feedback and criticism.  At any time I can call the top VPs and speak with them directly about an issue.  I have not had to censor myself in my discussions with management.
+ You are paid a decent starting wage.  $15 hour to start and a clearly outlined path towards pay increases.
+ Great staff.  Really some of the best people I've ever worked with.  I'll stay late after shifts sometimes because we've got a good or hilarious conservation going.
+ The job is generally a lot of fun but only after...
Negatives:
- The first month.  I come from a sales background with no previous experience in the industry and my whole first month was a blur of processes and reports that I couldn't really understand the meaning behind.  There is a dramatic shift in your enjoyment of the job once it all clicks.
- Sometimes it can be overwhelming.  Each customer brings with them a different set of problems to work through and you have to learn to multi-task.  Thankfully, there is training to give you an idea of how to handle these situations.
- High expectations.  This is both a positive and a negative but it's safe to say that your success or failure will be very dependent on your attitude towards challenges and your willingness to "step up to the plate".  I put this one in the negatives for the sake of balance.

Overall:  Stands out from other jobs I've had in that the quality of people you work with is very high, management make a point of highlighting your achievements and praising you for them and you are allowed to question and critique the policies that you don't agree with.  This company is the opposite of stagnant.

I've had the pleasure of working at PAY2DAY for 3 months (today is 21st of Mar, 2024), and I can confidently say that it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. From the moment I joined the team, I was impressed by the positive and inclusive culture that permeates every aspect of the workplace.
I've personally benefited from these opportunities, and I've seen my skills and confidence grow significantly since joining the team.

It starts at the top with an incredibly supportive leadership and executive team and continues through every department. If you want to find purpose and meaning in your work, this is the place to be! I'm a client service representative here, at the end of the day it's all about helping customers. I really enjoy being able to talk to people from different backgrounds and different walks of life. I feel great helping people that need us and reading the positive reviews left by my clients with my name afterwards. I could never ask for a better group of people to work with! 
Pay2Day is a wonderful and ever changing company, you 
are constantly learning different things even when you've been there many years. Each day is a new day, learning and meeting new clients is what I enjoy most.
My team at my branch is just like a family, we often get together outside of work and we're lucky we have this. Our entire workplace is filled with talented people from our CSR's right up to the top executives. Communication is great from one department to another, everyone really does work together towards a common goal and it makes a difference.
It's not too often you get to work in a place where you feel empowered to make decisions. I always feel listened to and heard, my opinion is valued.
This is an entry level position, there's much more to do outside of serving customers which makes the day fly by.  Advancement from within is easy to accomplish if you put in the work, all you need to do is show you want it.
I feel fortunate that this company gave me a chance and will work hard to prove they made the right one. Also, there's great incentives that create competition amongst branches and peers with prizes just for doing your job. Dress code is decent, dressing business casual while still being able to wear nice jeans is a bonus. Although it's a retail environment I think the schedule is very fair and flexible. 
Really can't complain so far its everything I could have hoped for.

I have been with this company for over five years, currently serving as a Territory Manager, and I can honestly say it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my professional career.

When i first started working here it was great, the training is extremely thorough and you get 40 hours right away. It was good until they basically throw you to the wolves after training, you are expected to work and close alone even when you just started working alone, if you make a mistake, even though you’re new, you’ll get written up instead of taught the right way. This company has an extremely high turn over rate due to the fact that they don’t care about their workers and will fire anyone who they don’t like. The amount of work that is required does not add up to the hourly rate, you’ll be doing more than the managers and get paid significantly less. They don’t care about your personal life so don’t try to bring it into work, they’ll shut you out completely. If you have any health problems, don’t bother working here because they don’t care and will fire you because you’re too weak. The entire company is run by young management which causes a lot of drama within the company, and it causes for favouritism to basically be encouraged. If you are asked to help out at another store in a completely different city, don’t expect them to compensate gas how they should be and don’t let them tell you it’ll look good on you, because they don’t care, as long as the shift is covered, you don’t matter. it’s unfortunate that this company is run poorly, because overall it’s an easy job, but they work you until you can’t take anymore and then fire you. I would suggest somewhere else, especially right now during covid 19, as they are not taking any measures to ensure safety for employees.

I've been with this company for almost five years, there's nowhere I'd rather be! What I love most about Pay2Day is the positive company culture which is created by so many various efforts from all levels.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The District level management is not properly trained, deals with CSR directly by yelling and belittling them. when you call him he never answer or never available when you needs help. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The District level office is very impulsive and involve in belittling of Managers and Staff. The decisions changes from person to person or in a moment. Something which was correct in morning become wrong in the evening on whims and fancies of DM. Proper training of managers is must in dealing with staff. Managers must behave like managers not like team members blaming their fault on others.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It was not worth living, early morning mails , too many calls to made, Untrained Managers yelling and belittling you and blaming you for everything wrong done by her. Getting  yelled multiple time by the DM for his improper directions.

These people make things seem great until your actually in after your 3 months of training is up to start when being interviewed they just say marketing and don't say what exactly marketing is one day I learn that it going standing on side of road and holding big sign for long time they make you bother and get yell at by people on street to talk to them you whole time at this job is on phone again bothering people and going marketing they so desperate for clients they make you do the most honestly for $15-16 and hour it not worth it in long run so much people leave for their mental health the regional manager so rude and inappropriate she tell people they can go work elsewhere or tim Horton when people actually might be happier at places such as tim Horton this place not much better only plus is it might be a good look on resume if you looking to work at bank or places similar people leave like myself because they realize they deserve better also if you don't get google review they write you up and fire you I seen it happen to csrs all they do here is gossip and mad when people choose to leave well I wish you all the best with your sad and jealous lives I pray that certain ones of you change so you will have brighter future.

First of all, this company forces employees to write positive 5 star reviews to drown out the negative ones. DO NOT TRUST all the 5 star employee reviews. Working for this company is a joke. The employees are treated poorly, don't get recognition, and then there is favouritism. They drive you to get unattainable results and once you attain them they question the authenticity of them. Discrediting your hard work. The pay does not match the job expectations, they expect you to go above and beyond for them but wont give you anything in return not even recognition.

The district manager is hypocritical, and does't follow the "rules" (i.e dress code, and privacy) but has the audacity to question their employees... lead by example! She does not praise you, but only speaks to you if she likes you or has something negative to say. Upper management is very fake and act like they care, but won't bring any concerns to you, but rather to your peers. Honestly in store employees are amazing to work with. Many people leave this company because of the upper management, and not because of the people they work directly with.

AVOID this company!! Other payday companies value their employees and have actual incentives (i.e. Cash Money).
