I've never felt this level of social connection with people I work with, all the while being fully remote. When we do get to work and meet in-person, it's as if I've met my coworkers time and time again.

I've also been super impressed by how much leadership values their employee's voice and listens. Employees are empowered from the bottom up to voice themselves to drive objectives and key results.

It feels so good to be able to give back through Paystone. We contributed to so many amazing causes (food banks, women's shelters, Geenees, etc...). We also help so many merchants grow and attract more customers. This adds meaning to connecting to work every day. 

Benefits are above average. So nice to be able to take as much vacation as I need and work from anywhere. Culture of trust and accountability make these things possible.

Zomaron is a great place to work at. The environment is very multicultural and gives you a good work and life balance. It was one of the best decisions that I have taken to be a part of this organisation because it has made a huge difference in my life. Not only have I learned new technologies and improved my skills but I have also met very knowledgeable and talented people, who are yet so humble and kind. We complement each other’s weakness and that’s why we work here more as a family than just as office colleagues. We have lots of ups and downs and tight deadlines while working which is normal in any company, however working here has never been stressful or painful because everyone tries to contribute, help and share the workload which does not only decrease the work but also help everyone to grow as an individual in their career.

Paystone is in the process of figuring out who they want to be following some recent acquisitions and leadership changes. The pandemic did not help, but they really tried to support staff and it feels like they're on the right track to continue making some significant improvements overall as a company.

The culture is very tight-knit and family oriented, management has really been supportive navigating the last several months and working with us to help manage the additional stress and challenges caused by COVID and working virtually. 

Coworkers have been awesome and office is really cool.

Given the pandemic circumstances this company has switched staff from working 9-5 hours at our normal salary to working 10+ hours a day including weekends with no additional pay. Our salaries are cut to the 75% wage subsidy with no top up from the company.

CEO refuses to pay staff anything above the wage subsidy. Refuses to treat the staff with any type of respect or dignity. Instead of helping offer solutions we are told anyone can live off our meager less than minimum wage salaries. Claims we can have a work-life balance but we are threatened to be fired we don't work overtime for free.

This is not a company that you can rely on. They will turn on you the second that things get tough and will try to get out of paying you at any chance they can get. This company is not worth the stress.

I liked working there, but it's very hard to hit the targets. I was marked as a telesales rep, and i got a calling list, and I had to call out to business owners and managament of the store or company and try to force them to hear my pitch and also try to get them to send something sorta personal. We got hung up on alot, yelled at and no answers, which I guess happens when you are telemarketing. But the targets that we were set up with, were hard to get, due to the fact that no one cares of what we were selling. And they are already set up with merchant services with banks, and it's better that way than with an independent. In the end, me and my partner got let go because it wasn't worth it at the end, and too much money was being spent. Oh well

No opportunity to grow within the company.
False promises - when reporting an issue needing to be addressed, they say they will take care of it but end up letting you take the heat from customers.
Weekly meetings are useless and are based only on what they have to bring to the table. Your ideas are acknowledged but then forgotten and not followed up on.
We are pretty much forced to do extra work when needed and not asked if we can do the extra hours.
No appreciation of work done or when filling in extra shifts ect..
ect..
(I have 20 years in the business and this is the first time I had to quit).

Paystone and NiceJob are not afraid of big goals, despite being an established leader in the payments space, they are pushing to differentiate  with greater focus on the customer experience. This is a goal I stand strongly behind. In the near term, it means there are challenges, this is a long project that hasn't always had a clear goal. It is easy to have doubts in these situations, but all the time the company has prioritized its people by communicating proactively, really promoting a work life balance, and bringing on strong coworkers who are passionate about customer driven growth

I've been working at Paystone for over 5 years now. The people and management here actually care for your well being and are always there to support you to ensure you strive both in your personal and professional lives. In my 5 year + journey at Paystone, I'm continuously being challenged in a good way that not only allows me to continue do a great job, but build upon my existing skillset in customer service and people management. The job is very rewarding and the work place culture is top notch. I highly recommend working at Paystone if you want that work/life balance and the satisfaction of helping other people while continuously learning new things in the FinTech world!

Very poor management and tough environment. My time at this company was difficult due to limited support from management in training and meetings. Leadership often set expectations and increased targets without providing clear reasoning. Another area that needs improvement is respect for diversity and inclusion. Management communication around language and cultural differences was not handled in a professional or considerate way, which affected the overall work atmosphere. I won’t recommend working there.
