I've been employed at the Edmonton HQ for a little more than half year now, everyone I've interacted with has been pleasant and enjoyable to be around. My team is knowledgeable and go-getting and we're constantly aiming to advance as the needs of our clients and staff do. When HR described the work culture it felt like the description a big family and I've so far found that to be accurate. Like any company we have crucial dues dates and standards to meet but it's clear that the staff enjoys their work and impact within the company. From what I have seen, Peace Hills Insurance is always seeing new brokers sign up for our services and we have been expanding our workforce to accommodate. Me and my colleagues are rewarded for our efforts and valued for our time. I've never felt hesitant to speak with upper management about any concerns and my input has always felt appreciated. With additional days off on top of vacation, I've never felt more confident in my ability to balance my personal and work life. As a newer professional in my industry I appreciate the opportunity of stability and growth that Peace Hills Insurance has provided me and I'm looking forward to helping them advance in the years to come.

The company has a great collaborative and supportive culture. the management is there for you anytime you need guidance or complete your tasks, no micro-managing either. There is lots of room for growth in your career with the company and they support your learning and development (financially and otherwise).

It is fast growing company with excellent management team and well trained employees. 

Peace hills work with independent insurance brokers to ensure customers are getting the best service possible. The independent insurance brokers’ primary duty is to their client; they can offer a variety of coverages and prices to suit your needs 

The IT department is providing the infrastructure which support the day to day insurance work processes. the in-house developed insurance operating system support the information seamlessly flow from customer to broker, broker to Peace hills.

As a new employee to Peace Hills, Management really does practice what they preach and the work life balance here is truly supported. Its refreshing to be at a company that embraces giving people the time to be with their families rather then promoting the grind that has become the norm in many companies. Its also been great to see that Peace Hills is modernizing its IT infrastructure and rolling out new tools and processes to make tasks across the company easier and more efficient. People are friendly and supportive from the CEO all the way through the company. 

They have a family work environment, the pay is on the low end but they try to make up for it with benefits/vacation, some flexibility but goes to favourite employees. Some employees have egos and it ruins the family environment management promotes. Management does not micro manage which is nice, they trust you to do your job. Not much room to move up and coordinators basically do level 1 underwriting but don’t get the pay or title. Overall good experience and once you go to a bigger insurance company you miss the environment

Peace Hills is a great place to work.  The company culture is amazing and the people are generally nice and easy to work with.  Work expectations are reasonable.   There is a large focus on work-life balance and you are able to leave on time and enjoy your time out of the office.   Management and senior leaders really care about the people that work there.  Technology is a bit outdated but new IT Management is making a huge difference in this regard.  There is a lot of support for employees from management and HR.

Peace Hills Insurance is focused on being a better insurance company. They are truly focused on providing fantastic customer service which is refreshing. Internally, there is an incredible focus on having a very strong culture with numerous events to help build that culture. 

Makes fun of clients, favoritism , mismanagement of funds, staff. Watch staff being condescending to, unequal opportunities. Family atmosphere? Disfunction  family. Flexible shifts only if you are a favorite. High employee turnover in short time I was there. Left as was terrible. Heard one manager calling one worker stupid. The gossiping was rampant.

Very flexible company with great management. Diverse culture. Benefits are good, very friendly people. Depending on which department you work in the level of noise can be bodersome as some will shout to one another across the open style workstations.

Dumpster fire. Terrible top executives in charge. No raises. Stay away if you value your sanity. There are some good people there but its mostly idiots that are steering the ship and they are using the wheel like its being used in the wheel of fortune. Its spinning and spinning and going in circles.
