Pearson Airport

Being a greeter at Pearson was a very time sensitive job, I learned how to be better at time management, relocating from terminal to terminal efficiently and fast because at times flights land within the same hour and as a greeter you can wait 30 minutes to an hour for a client to make it through customs. I was able to meet a variety of individuals from all over. Most of the clients were eager to get to there next location, often not always in the best of moods. I learned how to deal with certain personalities and make their moods change in my favor. I think it helped me grow a lot working there even though it was only a few months, it was a beneficial experience.

Since I started working with TORONTO BAGGAGE HANDLING SVC Was a good experience for me to start a place like Pearson, here's some fun about Pearson. PEARSON is a place you meet someone new every minute, people go through Pearson is all type human you'll ever see cause most of the human they accept kind and happy faces, you'll get that smile back no matter what it's it but I'm sure you'll be happy to see positive response that came out new person you just met. without knowing what's going on in their lives daily, I have a dream to be part of the management Pearson, one day will be excited about it...

Poor management, bad shifts times, no retraining for hurt at work staff,   dead end jobs. Not many speak English. Not retrained after a serious issue.  I would not consider working there again.

Decent workplace to save up money for overtime, management is hit or miss, co-workers are usually coming and going so also a hit or miss, a good job to build self-discipline and helping with public speaking skill (since you are in a diverse workplace, expect to be talked to a lot.), but other than that personally I would recommend keeping to yourself, and always keep yourself busy.

Liase with airline's flight schedule & organise smooth flow of passengers transportation.
organisation skill, as per middle management requirement.
Enjoyed every moment with co-workers, as a family.
Never really encountered any part of the job to be hard.
To work with reliable colleagues and to go home with a job well done.

Not the best company to work for as first experience in working at the airport!! 

The management is rude towards there Employees and they under pay way too much then it should be, I was a passenger service agent and other companies that had PSA were paying $18 an hour so I wonder what TBH did with the extra $4 they took away from there hard working employees

Overall working at the person airport i kern a lot of different things,also it was very friendly and there where always a helping hand i enjoyed it while i worked there thats why I'm looking for a job in the person airport again due to the fact that they showed me a great first time .

I loved working here, It is a really great company to work at, great benefits and also a nice salary. The only reason i left is because i would would outdoors in the rain or snow which i did not like because i would always get sick, otherwise working in the Airport is great, hopefully i get another job in YYZ.

Builds confident speaking to various type of of people. Very fast paced and repetitive. You will probably have the menu memorized over time. Your co workers will help you.

I have learn lot of new things and implemented new cost control processes. Work culture is very friendly and helpful. Management helps one to groom well and provide time to time trainings, which improves your productivity and motivate you to go for extra mile.
