This is not a professional or trustworthy company. During the interview, they clearly outline certain tasks and responsibilities, but once you start working, they overload you with additional duties that were never mentioned. There is a lack of organization and extremely poor communication between the boss and the employee. People constantly talk behind your back, creating an atmosphere of hypocrisy, which make the work environment uncomfortable. 

The company is not bad but terrible management in the customer service department. Very little tools to do the job your required to do. Very disorganized environment. Was told on my interview I would be taking 5-10calls a day but it was more like 30 more or less. No respect in the customer service department between supervisor and employees...cannot speak for the other departments. Very disappointed.

This company will prefer cooperative incompetance above challenging expertise. Not very open to new methods of manufacturing, still produce kayaks the same way they did 40 years ago. Company will hire and throw out employees without considerations.

It is easy to get a job with them, they desperately need people.  The conditions aren't very good once you are in.  There are some very poor supervisors that make life very difficult for the employees.  It is very hot to work in the shop.  A lot of employees hurt themselves and the company blames employees for any accidents

By far worst management ever.
Childish boss in customer service who thinks she's in high school. 
No respect given to employees that are not her friends. 
Could of been a nice experience as the company is growing but due to management it's a big fat zero.
This person needs to get coached on social skills.

I have been with Pelican for 1 year now and I love it !
The team is great, they made me feel welcomed at the beginning and have always been there to help me when I needed it.
I like how everyone in this team is different but we blend so well together when it comes to solving a problem. That is team work!

Job was lots of fun my a vast majority of my coworkers were awesome the only issue I had was the temperature of the shop in the summer especially working by the furnaces 

This was a fun internship. I was hired as a mechanical engineer in the R&D department but ended up doing a lot of industrial engineering working on some factory renovation projects. They have a good outdoors culture but the opportunities for advancement seemed limited.

I was never regreted my times having at Pelican International, that was a good enterprise i have ever worked before. It's safe and clean, they always work like a team. They treat theirs employees good and give them many opportunities to grow up into the company.

What a disgrace!!!

disrespectful language, rude behavior and poor manners toward each other as individual, including the SUPERVISOR!! This was not the kind of treatment people should expect from a prestigious organization like theirs!
