I wasn't sure at first if Penta would be the right choice for me. I haven't worked in environment such as this one. However the management and the people here are what drove my decision to accept the job. 

I've worked in many places and in many environments and I have to say that in my short time being here, it has really been a lovely experience. Staff here are truly tight knit and have a lot to offer to the team. 

They do really strive to push people to the best that can be and will give you the resources you need to get you there. 

If I had to think of something that could be done better, it would have to be time management. I get that it is busy and people have many roles, but sometimes it's hard to create something so big in such a small amount of time. But I'm sure we will work together to overcome this as this role is quite new and we are all still navigating the goal of where this department needs to be 

Management has one job with any company. That being the management of resources. The least of those it's employees. Favoritism and complete lack of constructive guidance is at the forefront. The single largest issue is that this company has no structure of any sort. The belief that a fifty percent retention rate of it's employees is absolutely ridiculous. The goal of any business should be to keep employees for at least five years. After that employees can often cost a company more. To turn over a work force every two years or less, can only result in a poor safety record, poor quality,  and poor productivity. Management is also the worst type of management. In it's belief that they are capable of running a business. 

There are very few good things that are worth mentioning about this job. Management is absolutely terrible, they constantly make decisions that have a negative impact on workers and only care about hitting unrealistic quotas. They boasted about record profits and growth in meetings but somehow routinely lay off most of their workforce right after giving out insulting raises. Everyone at this company is replaceable, people get let go so often with no reason its like a revolving door of people. The other workers there are pretty much the only thing that made the place bearable to work at. Look anywhere else for work before applying here.

Shocked to read some of the reviews, I had a great experience with Penta. Very accommodating to me during my time. Coworkers were all very great, helpful, and accommodating. Managers and Supervisors were all approachable and very friendly. Direction from upper management was clear and had meetings throughout the year to update all the employees in all different departments, and allow for questions and input. I never felt like there was a hidden agenda and if opportunity ever arose I would return to Penta in a heart beat. Don't let the negative reviews concern you, these are not accurate to what happens there.

you get hired with lots of promises that are never followed up on. The management has no interest in people's well-being at work only that work gets done and quality is not an issue. It's a vicious cycle of people getting hired then getting trained by people that were never really trained then getting fired rinse and repeat. there is maybe one qualified person there and they never use that person to train anybody on how to actually do the job.

A typical work day at Penta starts with a plant meeting in the lunchroom to discuss that weeks production and to bring up any  issues you might have on the floor. The supervisors are great to talk to and will help you with anything you need new tools, protective gear etc. The work here is challenging but not hard once you get the training from your co-workers. The people here are great, really friendly and willing help you out if you seem to be struggling. The most enjoyable part of being employed at Penta is knowing that when you are doing good work management will come out and let you know that they see how hard you are working.

This organization is being guided by the wrong people. Strong financial people should avoid this company. You will be handcuffed on what should be done. Finance turnover five  senior people in as many years. That should give one cause for concern. General no sense to do the right thing. Should question why a person assigned as GM has never had operations experience. Result big fail. In general organization does not respect finance people. Be very careful. Best advice avoid this company. 

Even though I have just started my journey with Penta, i am already in love with the process. The team is very supportive and help me grow in my role. I’ve been given opportunities to learn, improve, and gain valuable experience, which I truly appreciate. The management is truly a blessing as they spend time to listen to my feedback and ensure everything is going well. 
Honestly, I’m surprised to see the negative reviews here. From my own experience, PENTA has been a great place to work with strong support and a focus on development. Excited to continue working with them. I highly recommend them!

After reading some of the reviews, I felt  the need to clarify, this place is a great place to work and it seems like the reviews are from former employees that have a bone to pick. Bottom line with Penta, if you do your job and work hard, you’ll be rewarded, appreciated and have a great career,  I can guarantee the people that wrote these reviews did the exact opposite , I worked here for a few years before moving out of the province, but I would highly recommend Penta as an amazing company to work for. 


I worked at Penta Equipment as an Industrial Electrician. It's a great company with a professional team and well-organized workflow. I especially appreciated that the management values initiative and supports employee development. The work environment was positive, and the tasks were interesting and varied. I'm grateful for the experience and the opportunity to be part of the team.
