What is the best part of working at the company?
The fantastic company culture, my boss and her boss are supportive, caring and respectful and the company pays well for my position. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Very busy job with a lot of work. But it's very satisfying and the environment is very supportive.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Absolutely fantastic! A very progressive company.  No "old school" or backwards mentality.  Forward thinkers who embrace the "here and now".  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
As soon as you get to work, you are busy all day.

Typical office job where you answer calls and also do admin tasks at the same time. Yes, it is a call centre job, but we do more tasks such as GIC maturity instructions since clients can’t do it online as is not an option. Manager will be nice to you, but don’t let them fool you. Lots of false promises from Peoples. They will give us more holidays, but then we will need to work during those days and some department don’t need to work.

Lots of false working with Peoples. They offered extra vacation days for us. However, that only goes for vp, or other department. Unfortunately, won't be for people who working in call centre. Bonus is a joke, and the company is continuing to ask us how to save money. Pay is low and the work load is very high. 
There is a reason why people are leaving the company. High turnover and management still don't know the reason why people are leaving

A typical 8-4:30pm work, where the system is outdated, including the website. 
Day to day you will get a least two complaints with the website, and nothing you can do as the management don't do anything. Clients called us with frustration and you only can apologized to them.  

The workload is insane as your pay is different than other agents. The structure how you get graded is completely garbage. Lots of false promises working with Peoples.  

The work is exciting and interesting 
Management lacks initiative.
No manuals to refer to after training.
Supportive colleagues but sometimes have to wait a long time for help.
No on boarding or background information provided 
No sense of pride 
Expectations aren’t clear
No feedback provided.
When you ask for feedback it is vague, no specific examples provided.

If you are committed to your work this is the worst place to bring your talent to. People are not valued. Managers with 10s of years of experience are leaving in frustration putting immense pressure on processes and people. Pay is extremely low. Toxic work environment.

Peoples Group is a great company to work with. Company offered opportunities for employees to learn and grow. People have positive working attitude and easy to work with. Beside the work part, company organizes social events regularly to improve employee's social skills.

People forced to work in office-zero accommodation

Managers are not accommodating, 
Managers are forceful intolerant even when sick


Unfriendly people all over company. A lot of " chatting" behind the back. No adequate training for the job. People in the company always quitting, this is so huge some 5% sit there long time everyone else just coming for few months can't stand that atmosphere.

Low stress working environment 
CEO and other Executive staff are very personable and the entire company has a family feel to it.  
Compensation and benefits are above average for the industry.
