Performance Printing

a typical day would be to set-up a folding machine and run a folding job and getting the job out to the customer. I learned how to use different machineries. The management was something to be decidered. The co-workers where easy to get along with , but there was aways one or two that made trouble. The hardest part of the job was pulling the machines apart and cleaning them and then try to put them back together again. The most enjoyable part of the job was I didnt have to drive over an hour to get to work.

I was not there long, only when they were very busy. I was assisting on machines and hand working in the bindery. I did not know management well as I wasn't there long. I didn't have any co-workers as I was the only helper in the bindery. The hardest part was travelling to Smith Falls every time I was called in.

A typical day at work was 10 hours on the computer creating ads for the local newspaper.

The most enjoyable part of this job was that I could express my creativity through design.

The hardest part of the job was trying to make every ad look perfect.

Job security is gone. Not a fun place to work anymore.
When I first started benefits were paid for by the company and there was profit sharing., Christmas parties, etc. Once purchased by Metroland that was all taken away.

I had meet and trained a-lot of wonderful people in many years.I trained them how to feed the hoppers and how to shuffle their flyers ,so the they can go down straight into their hoppers without any problems on the line.
Overall it was a fun place to work at,and I really enjoy all the years with the Company.

Standing long periods of time.  Critical time deadlines.
Shift end time could be extended if malfunction with machinery therefore required to stay at work until customer job completed.

Hoping to get back to work , I enjoy working and learning new jobs.
have been working for 46 yrs .I do part time driving for dealers  also have my forklift licence .Looking for a new begining .

great place to work ,management was great to work for The people there cared for the work they were doing . Person doing the scheduling was great.Trucks were well maintained

there was a bear named horace, who ate clowns for fun
he farted confetti and it was magic, just pure magic who knows how many adventures horace had one day he died the end

get the list of the flyers used in that region and bring them to the front to be distributed. general clean up of warehouse.
