-There is no such thing as a typical day here, except for the surprises

-I learned to  be more skeptical of starting to work for a company

- Management is constantly rude, demeaning, and extremely unprofessional (expects you to pick up your phone from a hospital bed while in recovery from  a nearly fatal crises)

-The hardest part of the job is being expected to think for your boss, while barely being compensated to do your duties

-The most enjoyable part was the entertainment... there's never a dull moment

-Shop conditions are fairly unacceptable with piles of garbage lying around because they refuse to get a dumpster, which are occasionally left outside for animals to get into, You may the one cleaning this up
  
I would advise anyone to avoid this company and find something better

PS. as a company out of Alberta they are constantly picking and choosing which labour laws they want to follow,  typically the Alberta ones

** The hardest part of my job is trying to streamline work processes by documenting SOPs for all accounting full cycles; making sure, working smart and not hard is the goal of the team.

So I worked for them and they had a guy managing who had never managed a workplace before and it was just scattered.
They asked me to do two roles for the company, an installer and welder, now I gave them fair warning that I had never welded before. Worked there for about a month had maybe 10 hours of welding time in total and then was let go because I wasn’t good enough to be there. Oh and the owner and manager both claimed it was because my fellow co worker didn’t want to work with me. I suggest you never even take an interview with this company.

Pressure on deadlines from the higher ups

Its is great but they need to focus on the health of the employees regarding proper ventalation and filtering.

Get to work and engage in your assigned duties, always changing though. Organization would benefit this company

The biggest thing that stands out about this company is the great employees they hire. They put in a effort to have trustworthy, competent, hard working employees. There is a lot of variety within the company and opportunity to expand skills or wok in various areas. When you earn your stripes, they will make sure you are compensated well. 
Overall a great place to work with great core values and opportunity.

Not a good company to work for. Period...
cheat you out of hours and commisions and micro manage items
that are not related to your position. 
unrealistic sales goals with no training and support. 
wont reward you on any good work being done.

Design department is a productive, well managed, and great place to work. Things are slower during the winter and fast during the summer, so you might be asked to work overtime during the summer. Sometimes deadlines can be tight. 

Compensation could be better, and I hope that management is currently working on that. 



Had high hopes for this place. And thing went well for awhile. Then management changed and everything got toss upside down. Crazy place to work with unrealistic deadlines and them expecting you to give every moment of your time to their business. If you don't conform to their view of a "team player" good luck holding a job.

Permacorp has a deplorable attitude towards it's employees and how to treat them. Lots of work for which everyone expects others to be responsible for, no one wants to accept their part of the process. Poor organization from the top down and lots of finger pointing when an issue happens.

you're set up to fail , management expect you to do there job for them than if sucessful they take credit for your work or if it fails they degrade you . alot of favortisim with the philipino clique . its a good job if you desperate .
