Most of the staff were hesitant or outright refused to train new employees, than complained that the new hires don't know how to do their job. Management moves you around constantly so there is no consistency on the training. The pay rate was half decent and the benefits are good, if you make it passed your 90 days. It took two months to get hired and they gave me less than a week to let my old employer know I'm leaving. Health and safety "training" was less than a day and they didn't even go over any of the policies with us except WHMIS and the disability act. All the other important stuff was glossed over and not explained. Overall I think their training program needs HUGE revamping and safety doesn't seem to be a huge concern for a factory.

Overall this is a decent place to work in Windsor. Most of the jobs are easy and straightforward, but laziness is promoted among the workers. You are not impressing anyone here if you work very hard, you will only single yourself out. Management is notorious for hiring temporary workers (either direct or agency), and there is zero job security. They may tell you there is a chance to be hired, but it seems they prefer hiring high school graduates with little work experience to ensure that they keep you for life. The line is usually understaffed because they hire more temporary/contract workers than they offer actual permanent positions.  Also, it is dirty for a GMP facility--there is dust and dirt in the air and on the machines.

What can you say about a toxic management team that’s completely disconnected from the rest of the province? 
Nothing, the company does and says nothing. 

Want to advance your career here? Leave. 
Want support from your manager? Nope. 
Want to get a competitive salary? Leave. 
Want to get rewards for winning sales contest? Nope.
There’s a lot of other companies in this space where you’ll get compensated fairly and not have to deal with absentee armchair quarterbacks. 

A typical day at work is every day, Everybody (co-workers and management) just doing their work. The hardest part of the job was to get other people from the company to get involved in the project (which was, in fact, the top priority to the company), nobody would respond, nobody was willing to make any changes whatsoever to the established workflow. The most enjoyable part of the job (and I mean not only for myself, but for the most employees) was the possibility to buy premium kinds of beverages at discount

Coffee and views and a comfortable environment 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No one can express themselves as they are.  It's awkward 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Pedantic at the least but mostly a performance of prostrating 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Date and registration updates in my internal business system.

Overall a good feel to the place, work is very repetitive but not boring and there is potential for advancement. The only con is that there is a definite attitude towards temp workers from the full time employees but the management is very responsive to your concerns, I would definitely work there again if given the opportunity

I really enjoyed it until they let me go a week before Christmas, with only a month left before the contract was up stating that I did a wonderful job and no complaints. 

Its a great place to work just don't get attached or bring any false hope that it will become a long lasting career. This is not said with anger but a simple acknowledgment that the last several contract hires had gone through the same thing.

Management and HR have take  the bull by the horns. You feel appreciate and part of the team since day one. As an employee you looking forward to show to work every day. 

Great place to work. Had management support. Lots of weekly travel. Special Events were top shelf. Corporate structure changed over the years which lead to challenges across the country.

A day at Pernod Ricard gave me a good learning experience in terms of leadership, team management and collaboration. Its a fun and productive place to enhance your software and technical engineering skills. Great co-workers!!
