Treasury: look after all bank accounts, bank reconciliation

Cost accounting: huge cost adjustments at the end of year; enable to work on large and complex spreadsheets

Audit: coordinate internal and external audit, solve inquiries, work with cross-functional departments, improve internal business process.

Financial Accounting and reporting preparation: accuracy and meet deadline on time. able to do catch the variance and analyze.

Supervision: supervise junior accountant's Payroll work for accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Netback calculation: this is to calculate the cost to bring one barrel of oil to market at end of each month. able to process data from cross-functional departments and complete work in short period of time. Other accountants in the team depends on my number to finish their deadlines.

Remote sour gas processing plant. Daily logs of equipment along with entering production into production manager. Making necessary adjustments to plant process to be on spec for plant sales to TCPL. Argo, Sled or use Quad to get to field wells and Boosters. Daily pigging of lateral lines and weekly pigging of main lines to facility. Check field  inhibitor pumps to make sure they were doing proper injection amounts. Oil and filter changes to plant and Booster engines as required. Filter changes in Amine skid and Inlets as required.

maintain steady operation and production of 3 compressor stations and the associated sour natural gas wells.  Because the wells were located in the northern Alberta Boreal forest, access was sometimes extremely difficult and could only be reached by quad or helicopter.  I enjoyed these daily challenges and took satisfaction in completing the daily tasks even though they were very challenging

Plant operator, servicing feild equipment, plant operation and maintenance. camp position. I enjoyed working on the equipment, the staff where cooperative, and helpful, we worked as a team.
My boss was very accomodating and provided the equipment and supplies we required to do our job.

Calgary and local employee's where great to work with.  Treated employee's with respect and honesty. At times turn over was high but was camp jobs. However long time employee's where with company for years and there was quite a few.

Learned a lot working here. Good benefits and good co-workers and management. Its a small company where everyone knows everyone. Wages were a tad low but based heavily on the market gas price.

 still stay in touch with management. I left there to shortage of work. I liked it a lot because you were supervising a lot of people.

the management team values a balanced life.  You are able to take personal days as you see fit as long as you keep the company whole in the end.  I was able to learn and grow substantially technically over the last 6 years.

Was a good company to work for. The downsizing of the company after Seqoia purchased the area was tough on everyone. The flexibility of the work day was great to manage all of the work load and get jobs done.
