Working with Access Personal Support has been an absolute pleasure. Management is approachable and available for extended hours, including weekends, to provide support. My manager specifically has been incredibly diligent and understanding throughout my experience. In an effort to support professional development, she consistently provides feedback and conducts “check-ins”. She treats me like family, and I’ve experienced the same treatment from upper management. 

Working for Access provides you with the opportunity to build your own schedule. Your shifts are fairly flexible and you have significant control over how much or how little you work. You are responsible for overseeing your day to day sessions, which nurtures the development of various management and interpersonal skills.

I've been working over a year at Access Personal Support and its been fantastic.   As a mom, I love that I have the flexibility to make my shift during school hours, work before or after school, and even free up my schedule for doctor appts.  I don't need to make excuses or doctor notes, I can work 4 days a week or more,  I'm in charged of my schedule.  My managers are great, always available, respectful and professional.  The company has given me great clients, most within my area, even walking distance.  I'm treated with respect by all my clients, I feel appreciate and it's also great to feel like you are making a difference in someone's life.  I also love that I don't have to wear a uniform, so I feel like I'm a friend when we go for groceries or errands, plus I'm compensated for my mileage.  I can work independently, my manager do not hover and they are always supportive.  Great experience overall.

Access personal support is a fantastic company to work for, they have very different range of patients to look after, if you haven't already please check out their website he will tell you A Rage of different varieties of clients from motor vehicle accidents, to brain injury, to people who just need home care.
Everybody needs help with  once in a while.
Management was  always  very accommodating to my needs, as much as  my  clients.. 

 


i have worked for this company for a few months now. I rarely have an opportunitty to speak to the supervisor as she doesn't return call or texts. She epects me to communicate any schedule changes, sick calls, change of service to the client. Clients are unhappy with care they get and we psws get yell at for it. I took bus to my clients house. got there. find out we double booked. i called supervisor she say it was mistake and she refuse to pay me for my time saying we cant bill client for my error. it was not my error. i have text. company inconsiderit.

The day at work doesn't matter to me because I will have gone to work, I have learned that I have to treat my colleagues and the company well. I have learned that I have to treat my colleagues and the company well. Management is good because it reminds us exactly what we have to do as employees. The custom is that I have to have an index value. The hardest part of the job is that I can work away from home. The enjoyable part of the job is the pay and having fun with others.

Things were great in the beginning, a lot of hours but in the past 6 months i have been told there is a shortage of hours. I recently learned newer workers are getting clients closer to home with longer hours meanwhile I have been without hours and travelling far distances. Things have changed drastically since new management took over.

The clients are the only good part of this job because management is a complete disaster. Trying to reach the supervisor is a nightmare—they’re “too busy” or never around when you actually need help. Clients are left in the dark, rarely getting callbacks, and find out about schedule changes from me instead of management. It’s unprofessional, chaotic, and downright infuriating for everyone involved.

Communication with management is nonexistent. Supervisors are too busy or unavailable when you need support, leaving you to handle everything. Clients get frustrated because they don’t hear from management and often only find out about schedule changes from you. Completely disorganized, stressful, and shows a total lack of care from leadership.

Communication with our supervisor is rare. She is too busy to take your call or is with clients when you need her help. Clients are unhappy with the company as they do not receive calls back from the supervisor and often time only learn of schedule changes from me - the psw.

Access personal support is very good agency I like to work in this place they replied very quick in the massage I like all the managers I learned so much in here and they have good pay rates they don’t have any benefits I did work with contracts.
