My time with this company was short lived. Got very few hours even though I asked for part-time, and training was lacklustre when it was delegated to somebody who wasn't a supervisor or senior position on line.

You're expected to learn the food you will prepare at home - which is fine - but if the person who is training you doesn't help you much, you're going to get thrown under the bus.

The saving grace is that all the people I worked with were stellar people. I didn't have issues with cooperating with any of them and we all got along on good terms.

Fellow employees as well as management positions are helpful and friendly, stress is only caused if you allow how busy the restaurant is to affect you negatively. If you are in a good mindset, it spreads throughout the environment and, as often seen in Phoenix Grill, makes for a good experience.

It can be a fun place and easy to grow if you are hard working, but the environment is stressful with short time to prep and cook.
I have learned many skills. Became a faster cook and more knowledgeable, but the shouting and rushing is not beneficial to the employees.

When I worked there it was so much fun. Everyone was kind to one another, people respected each other. The workers there wanted to make you succeed. I learned how to manage time and stay focused on my work. I also learned how to be professional at my work.

i learned that not everything in life comes on a silver platter. If you want or need something you have to go out and get it rather than waiting for an opportunity that isn't guaranteed to show up.

I worked at Phoenix Grill for 3 years moved from expediter to line cook and stayed there for 2 years. The staff are great people and I had a good experience working there. The management and pay were very lack luster which is why I left.

It is a very hard job and it was not for me very fast paste for me to handle. I have found doing dish washing is very hard and difficult to handle, but it was good learning experience to achieve.

Phoenix grill will make you sign an agreement if they cut you before 3 hours, basically this agreement allows them to pay you only exactly for the time worked, and not the standard, by law of 3 hours minimum

The managers could not teach well to first time servers making the job very high stress. You had to work four shifts a week so it was not very convenient for people wanting a flexible schedule

Management could be better, time management was poor but a great environment to work in. Management kept on promising to increase my hours but after a month, nothing was changed.
