Being with the company for 10 years, I was fortunate to manage 2 divisions including implementing a new division and had the pleasure to work with every employee at Phoenix. Each new position allowed me the opportunity to learn and gain deeper understand of the company’s structure, operations, and values. Every new title meant new set of responsibilities, different challenges, but I was also compensated accordingly and have had 3 salary increases (great example of promoting within the company). Management invests a lot of time and resources to train its staff internally and through courses and certifications as they are the face of the company and Phoenix’s core objective is to provide superior customer service to its clients. Being a 365 days a year business is a demanding industry but our company is a Family owned business and I feel that Phoenix employees are a family, supporting one another even when not within your department. From Quarterly Birthday Breakfasts, to Family Day Celebration, Summer events, Winter events, Christmas parties , Phoenix goes above and beyond in creating a Family environment in a work setting, not to mention the company have never laid of a single employee in its 37 years.  I take pride in being a member of the Phoenix Family.

I have been employed for 12+ years, and college educated, and yet I had a hard time finding a place where I can settle down and have a career. I gained a lot of experience and knowledge over the years working for different companies but had a hard time finding a place where I could not only excel but learn and be a valued member of the team. This is when I found Phoenix Restorations. I have to admit I knew nothing of the industry but a friend who works there told me that I should apply. It has been 2+ years that I have been at Phoenix and I am excited for the future. I have had multiple raises and have moved up in the company. They go through a great deal of training their employees and when the opportunity comes up, they look at promoting within before looking outside the company. I feel like I finally found a career that I can be proud of and look forward to many more years together. A side note, during a recent quarterly birthday breakfast, 2 staff members were recognized for their 10th anniversary with the company and one for their 5th anniversary. Phoenix recognizes the value of their employees and celebrates their achievements. I'll write more when I have my 5-year trophy :) 

I work in the office and have been with Phoenix going on third year now. 

Within that time I gained experience and confidence in myself and my ability to perform my job with level of detail that it deserves. I went from a shy person to someone that enjoys what I do. This is a Restoration company so we deal with people that are out of their homes due to a flood or fire plus all the things in between. 

You have to put yourself in their shoes when talking and guiding them because being sympathetic and understanding goes a long way  in this industry ( I imagine this is happening to me and how I would want someone on the other line or at my house assisting me carry themselves ). 

I always liked helping people and honestly never thought I would find myself working for a restoration company but you get an opportunity to help someone in a bad situation and make it less stressful. 

Also, I really enjoy  everyone that works here. It has a family vibe and being a family business its really nice to see that they carry that tradition by treating the staff with care and respect ( there plenty of laughs and good times to make work feel less like work ). 

I have worked in several other restoration companies before and have been in the industry for almost 10 years ( this semptember ). Everyone promises better pay, advancement, etc but Phoenix actually follows through. 

This is my 3rd year with PHX and I am on my 3rd raise. No they don't give you a raise every year, I work very hard, and I prove myself every day. Plus when they are in need, I show up and they value loyalty and initiative. So they give raises based on performance not senoriety  like other companies I have been at before. I think that's really fair because just because you've been at a company for 5, 10 years doesn't mean you deserve a raise, you earn it. 

Another reason I love this place is because the training they put you through is awesome. At this place you are constantly learning, either in class during courses or in the field. New and better EQ shows up and you get to use it to make your job better.

Lastly there is no invisible division between office and field staff. They do quarterly birthday breakfasts that everyone must attend and we have breakfast together. Plus on the daily basis someone from the office is always in the warehouse talking to us. Theres bunch of great lads and gals working here so yeah I enjoy coming to work where Im valued. 

Working for a restoration company is demanding! If you expect 9-5 with weekends off, this is not a place for you. With that said, if you're a go getter, up for a challenge, don't mind working overtime and on weekends (you will be compensated accordingly & fairly and bank a lot! ) this is a place for you. 

One of the things that really stood out for me is that the company promotes within. If you show up, put in the work, pick up when they call and show initiative, management notices and when an opportunity for advancement comes up, your name will be on that list as opposed to looking for someone outside they have no idea about. 

I have been promoted twice already and do not plan on going anywhere.

Phoenix has a really good training programs, they will invest money and time into their employees which makes you feel valued and appreciated. 

Every day is something new because you get called out to different jobs so I never get bored at work.

Over the 8 years I have worked at Phoenix Restorations I have not only seen the growth of the company but also of individuals who have been able to advance in their careers.  Management is always looking at the potential of the employees and in-house promotions are always happening.  With the Project Management Teams over half of those team members came from our field of technicians.  Within the field our technicians are consistently being promoted to a higher level.

The owner of Phoenix Restorations is always in touch with his employees and lets us all know how important we are all are to the Company but knows that family comes first.  

Phoenix Restorations is constantly looking at ways to become better than it already is.  They acknowledge mistakes happen and once recognized move quickly to rectify the situation.

Phoenix Restorations is a great place to work. You are treated with respect and fairness and are expected to treat all employees, customers, etc. with the same. Management is always open to discussions and ideas, Phoenix treats you as part of a family and takes genuine interest in your health and work life balance. There are those, (ex employees as per some below), that  feel raises should be given with time served, not abilities or accomplishments. To those I would say good luck in your future endeavours, and good luck to your future employer. Phoenix pays is within industry standards and they always recognise and reward hard work. Phoenix also stands behind their work to customers more than any company I have ever worked for. They often go far beyond what should be required of them.

I started out in the field and worked my way into the office. was it easy-nope, but I know people that started out in the field like me and now they work in the office.  Our company hires good people and groom them to move up within the company. Dont get me wrong being out in the field is great and some people choose that as its exciting to go to different jobs and meet customers, I liked that part as well.  Phoenix puts people through courses and invests into staff so they take pride in their job. its a great environment and people always help each other. there is no drama and managers do one on one to make sure you have what you need and provide support

This is a great place to work. Not a day goes by where I don't look back at my day with pride. This company offers tremendous opportunities for growth to those willing to learn and work hard. I started in Contents and have worked my way up to be part of a great Project Management Team. The family atmosphere and TEAM mentality here is both uplifting, and a driving force to push yourself to be the best version of you. Management is always here to lend an ear and to inspire you to continue towards your professional goals, whatever they may be. Each day is filled with mini-milestones that may be personal and/or TEAM oriented. If you are willing to work hard to achieve great things with your TEAM, this is the place for you!

I love my co-workers which is a must when you have to be around them 5+ days a week. Everyone is friendly and supportive. There is a family like vibe at Phoenix and they do a lot for us to make us feel like a family and a team. 

I really enjoy our events from Go Karts, bowling, Castle Fun Park, Bring your family events, BBQs, Brithday Breakfast because it allows office staff to interact with field staff, we are all one big team. 

I used to work in the field and got promoted to work in the office. Ownership has a great eye for talent and does a lot of promoting within as opposed to hiring from outside. It encourages staff to work harder and go the extra mile  because management recognizes it.
