The work is not hard, though it is interesting, enjoyable and constantly changing. Learning how to use various machines and different computer programs is a plus. However, the overall moral is poor. Many employees are not excited and lack the motivation to work is abundant. Upper management does not communicate well. The hardest part of the job is the amount of hours worked over the Christmas season, when people should be enjoying family time they are working with little or more frequently no thanks or recognition for hard work. It is a good place to work for if you have had trouble getting a job, or just need to use it as a stepping stone to something better.

Started off with 12 hour(7pm - 7am) shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday(Perfect for my sleep schedule), pay rate was $11.45/hour(above minimum wage at the time). Got to have a smoke break every hour, was allowed to listen to music during my work(quality inspection and packaging). After new years, shifts were shortened but I was doing 8 hour(8pm - 4am) shifts 4 days a week for the entire month of January, as it was a seasonal job I was laid off permanently end of January. Though I enjoyed it immensely, it was fun work, great company, great leisures after the christmas rush.

Hectic and stressful would be my first choice of words but putting aside the negativity it was a great team to be apart of. the lack of management but strong support of employees helped push the day through. they were more about getting work out than putting work in, fun team and wonderful group of individuals

my typical day was go to work at 6:00pm, clean up the day shifts mess, get boxes ready to pack. then i would move to shipping and put the right boxes in the right bin to be shipped. after i was done that i would pack more with my employee till we where done the sift. i worked 12 hours a night every night. the hardest part was the hours, and the management was terrible, but in the end i didn't mind was i did so i stayed.

Very good place to work, a lot of hours. I took care of the calendar department ran it but was not a manager. Clocked in assembled calendars took care of mistakes that my team mates made. Not a hard job at all. Learned how to work in assembly and making of a lot of products like phone cases, mugs, calendars, ETC.

show up, stand in virtually the same spot for 6-8 hours, assemble products.
Management was well organized.
Co-Workers knew how to have a good time wile being efficient in the workplace.
Hardest part was un-jamming the book printer (it was an intricate machine)

great place filled with great people managers sucked only cause they were family either then that every day there was a good day i learned a lot like how to press pictures on to different object like cus, key chains, mugs, etc..

photo gift world was somewhat of a sweat shop. I worked there on Christmas hours to help speed up production so they could meet orders. I worked over 18 hours a day and made a lot of money that ended up going to tax. not a good job.

Great position I learned several new computer systems and was able to put some of College technical training into practice.

Started on the ground level, got promoted, was managing xerox room by the end of my time there, but that's when the company downsized and moved most of the facilities to Ontario
