I worked in front office as sales associate/assistant and was let go right before covid hit (they have warehouses in China so I’m sure they knew what was going on).

They paid me cash weekly which I thought was great at the time. Everyone from warehouse to front office is paid in cash. Turns out About 90% of the employees were never on payroll and I wasn’t able to claim cerb during covid because the CRA had no idea I ever worked there. I emailed asking for my record of employment which was never given. Shady place. Poor work culture. Certain people with sticks up their you know what. Don’t waste your time.

Overworked 
No overtime pay 
Constantly barked at to work quicker 
No real advancement nor appreciation for work
Sweat shop 
Complaints go unresolved 
Management and Supervisors are rude
Creativity dies and constantly questioned
Poor work environment that is very dirty. Loads of dust
 

Would not recommend this job to anyone.

Work is stressful.
Nobody cares for employees.
Management just want to exploit workers here to get maximum work output.
No appreciation for good work.
Unsupportive people.
Blaming culture.
Zero with life balance.
They might expect you to work 7 days a week without any extra benefits.


Nice to work in Picture Depot. Bosses are good. 

Fun and enjoyable. You have to learn on your own. You have to be a multi skilled to cover work of your co -employee if they are on leave. It is a good experience that may help on your day to day and to the company:-)

My week at PictureDepot was marked by poor management and a disregard for employee well-being. It appeared that resources were mismanaged, leading to a frustrating and unproductive environment.

Very low pay and very long hours. I'm fairy certain the hours and pay were not in line with labour board guidelines.
Made lots of art and never received a cut of the profits. 
Why bother making someone else rich?

All you see around you is Art, A perfect place for a person who likes Art,painting,Graphics and more 
A lot to learn and they are very helpful people 

This company does not hire staff on their payroll and use other staffing company to fulfill the positions.  During the period I was working here only a handful of employees were on the payroll.

I learned to work with speed. 
Heavy work was the difficulty for me.
Break after every 2 hour was enjoyable.
They are polite if we work good but if we make mistakes they show anger.
