What is the best part of working at the company?
I enjoyed the people I worked with.. They were all very professional about thier performance and abilities..

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
We never seemed to have enough parts especially for the older equipment and
many times had to find substitutes  and hoped that they would work until replacements could be sent in.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Employees all seem to get along well but management changed so often that it was difficult to gauge their opinions of quality. Employees all enjoyed getting together for our once or twice a year sporting events.


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
My job required me to work an extra half hour to do paper work after a 12 hour shift so my day was long and many times tiring.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I am having  a hard time to think of anything good

Disorganized
No training
Sink or swim mentality

No lean culture 
Unionized but the ones in charge of the union are not competent 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Come in to broken equipment with no scheduled PMs

Coming in to nonorganization at all

No sense of direction

No sense of targets

Come in and don't know when you going to go home

They will sell you the world on your interview, then reality hits day 1 when you start.

The management team has a myopic view and will steal your ideas for their own benefit.

Many incidents of workplace violence and harassment.

If you are a good employee and become a potential threat to a managers position, they will find ways to get rid of you.

Safety lacks and too many incidents. 

If you are professional manager, you will not fit in.

Whitby facility of NSG is a great place to work. 

The shop floor is safe and management gives high priority to safety of employees with regular review and audits.

Whitby work culture provides work-life balance.
Management strongly believes and promote respect for people, zero tolerance to harassments, new ideas. 
Doesn't believe in 'over the shoulder micro managing' 
Managers maintain open door policy for everyone to feel comfortable and communicate.

nothing in particular, it is a wonderful experience

near perfect and friendly. Great place to work

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
job satisfaction and fulfilment in production and timely

The people there can really stress you out for the drama and how the treat new people. Management is also stressful to deal with but the supervisor are good just the higher up managers 

Most people here are good.The union does nothing especially the president and vice present .The old president was way better then one they got now . Senior management doesn't help junior management like supervisors know as msl If you get mangment just know that  The less you do and the less you care, the higher you go. 

Best MSL/TL was walked out from what I hear, deflating the entire team on all shifts. New manager is a bully and HR is not there to support the staff.

Not safety oriented,  some managers care, others do not and will throw you under the bus. Place will close next year if they stay on this path.   

Management and Human Resources are dishonest and bullies. No skills, poor leadership, verbally abusuve. 
Team leaders are ok, but they can’t help you because the management team and HR are bullies, punitive and will work you to the bones before they fire you. Management has always been bullies, and enjoy being tough.  Toxic.
