I was hired and remained at the top wage rate in the maintenance shop during my 3-4 years there.   The top rate wasn’t great and didn’t change during that period. I saw a massive pay increase the day I walked out their door. 

The production people were nice, but they struggled with low pay too. I did find that the low level of pay for everyone had a bonding effect and made people work together.  Giving people rides home in the morning because they couldn’t come up with bus fare was a common occurrence. 



I loved producing balloons it was an interesting job with lots of fascinating machinery. People were very friendly and the plant is run like one big giant family. I enjoyed my job and tried almost every job they to offer in the facility except maintenance. Winters are great because you can wear summer clothes in the plant due to the heat. Summer however are a completely different story leaving you constantly drinking water to stay hydrated. I really enjoyed my experience at Pioneer Balloons but most of all! I'll miss my family there!

They went Bankrupt and left everyone high and dry, and it was a filthy place to work

The smell and noise and the disorganization

Multi cultural  and alot of miscommunication and unorganized

Highly stressful toxic environment very dirty

Pioneer was a great place to work for the years I was there,but does have some issues with staffing and maintaining of the manufacturing department,other then that it was enjoyable to work with the people I worked with 

 Lots of opportunities. If you take pride in what you do. If legitimately try your best every day.... they do reward you with better positions. Although, you need to stay on top of them for your reviews and pay increases.  This company has a large employee tur around. Pay isn't up to standards but benefits are above par. 

I know we get breaks in between but the hrs is 12 hrs you only work 15 days a month.  Management is poor they don't know what there  doing. They need to step up and help I know were just numbers. Supervisors should not call people names one Supervisor shouldn't be one 

This job is fine I worked there for less than a month but they gossip about the employees and treat you like a machine . Supervisors talk down to you and talk about you . Heard them talk about many employees in the breakroom and after my shift 

Poor and very uneducated management level.
No health and safety at all.
It is big surprised how government allows this company to continue operating !!! 

Very demanding production environment with long 12-hour shifts, repetitive line work, fast-paced quotas, and frequent overtime. The job taught discipline and endurance, but the workload and pace made it difficult to maintain a healthy work-life balance long term.

I worked at Pioneer Balloon for just over 7 years in the maintenance department. I liked the peaple that I worked with. I only left the company because of the very low pay  and rotating shifts.
