Worked at pioneer 5 years doing liners safety covers and what ever else they could swindle me into doing, if your not a student looking for a summer job or a trained slave do not work here . Warehouse and distribution end of the company is much better but service department lacks experienced people and managers who actually do their job and answer their phone , if you want to act like a pool guy and deal with angry customers on the daily you may be a candidate to apply !!!

THe coworkers are definitely the best part of working here. Aside from that there are a few issues. Firstly, so I can be quite disorganized, there have been a few times where no manager has shown up to open the store until after the time it was supposed to be open. Also, for five hour shifts we got paid adopted for breaks but we are actually given breaks

Great fast paced environment where you deal with customer issues on a daily basis. Problem solving and learning about the ins and outs of pool maintenance are crucial to the advancement of your role. Great part time hours, and great full time advancement if you are knowledgable and good with customers. In the summer it is filled with young students, and there is a great company culture.

My experience with Pioneer Pools was not a positive one. For the first while it was decent, but then it was expected that we work 12 hour days 5 days a week and a mandatory 8 hours every Saturday. The stress posed by the workload and lack of work life balance really soured me on the employer.

Selling robots and cleaners, it was a good job but the customers can be ruder than I've ever heard or experienced in my lifetime.
The hardest part of the job is the fact that for most positions there is minimal training

Worked at pioneer pools for two summers in a student position. Super friendly staff and management. Management and ownership prioritized there employees. Would highly recommend.

While working at Pioneer Pools I learned a lot about pool and hot tub water chemistry. My co-workers were an amazing group of people, all very friendly. The management was good as well.

The head office has some of the rudest people I have ever met. They do not care about you. I have never felt so poorly about myself to the point I had to take medication due to my depression from how I was being treated.

It was a great place I don’t know what happened very unsafe place to work horrible people don’t complain about anything you will get fired no warning and no leadership in warehouse you never get any proper training 

great place to work would definitely go back for another summer of work.  Great people to work with, the work can be hard but lots of people willing to help out other teams.
