Company uses scare tactics on employees to force overtime (if you don't work Saturdays, you won't have weekday schedule) 
No chain of command. Employees run the floor.  Can expect to be a temp worker for over seven years. In rare cases of full time hire, they do not hire in order of seniority or even work ethic. All about who likes you. 

Always try to guilt you to feel bad for the company.. to work until you're replaced by the next shift person and do not pay for the few minutes. Happens almost every day. And they pay overtime after 44 hours in the week. Not after 40 hours or after 8 hours in the shift


Indirectly threatens employees for talk of joining a union.
Cuts benefits without informing employees. (eyeglasses from $250 to $150)

They do offer a pension plan though. The only perk which is common now with companies. But good luck getting full time to even get it.

I had the pleasure of working there for several months and found it to be an excellent experience.

First and foremost, the management team was fantastic. They were supportive, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. They provided clear instructions and communicated well with their team members, which made it easy to understand what was expected of us and how to achieve it.

Additionally, the work environment was both clean and organized. The production facility was well-maintained, and the team was diligent in keeping it that way. I appreciated that the management team took cleanliness seriously and made sure that all team members were following the proper sanitation protocols.

For general employee, they will face to very fast working area, lower temperature environment and production item is switched very quick. it is means your position maybe not very stable. (575 location) and 610 location is better than 575 since it is stable item, you can control it after you work with them around 2 weeks. 

For floor management employee, since it is poor inventory management, process control. Higher employee turn over ratio. all of these give you more challenge. However, it gives you more opportunity to improve your personal skill. That will help you in the future.

After the management changed, the environment became worse. U r just a replaceable item there. The managers supervisors and human resources are very bias.
They don't care about anyone but their own kind.   There are favoritism there, you have to be the same nationality as the HR and manager to get a promotion or something like that. It doesn't matter how long you work for it. They don't appreciate your contribution.  No one will listen to u especially when u have complaints to make and is quick to fire you for nothing. I would not advise anyone to work here.  

I encountered a quality team that was knowledged, autonomous and motivated for the most part in proactively ensuring the quality of processes.
The HACCP certification was in good hands and the production management cooperated in efforts to enact the requirements of the programme.
The quality director is a knowleged person and a good communicator. I recongnize the quality director as one of the best person I have had the pleasure to work with.

They were a mess of a company when I joined. Owned by a holding company that doesn't know what happens at the street level and that dictates some of the most archaic processes I've witnessed. They claimed at the interview to be open to continuous improvement, even to fix things that aren't legit, but once on the job they hardly listen to their employees. 

Plats du Chef has been a great learning experience for me. My co-workers are very helpful and respectful. The most enjoyable part of the job is that its very unpredictable that keeps me going and busy at all times. The management team is always there to answer any questions or concerns. Overall, it has been a pleasure working with Plats du Chef.

The environment at the beginning was supportive.  There was a change in management and unfortunately the environment was less than accommodating thus resulting in unnecessary stress and duress.  Lack of listening and communicating effectively resulted in productive employee's becoming less productive.  

Often working in a team, the given tasks are often a routine. Completed dough-packaging services, with other co-workers. Performed various team working activities at the workplace to help excel the brand name.
