Playdium

Some of the managers are terrible at doing their job. They do not schedule anybody properly or consistently. They PROMOTE the WRONG people to become managers/supervisors, which results in drama and A LOT of favouritism in the workplace. Many coworkers have brought up big issues and nothing has been done to solve any of them. Who is promoting these people anyways? Other than that, the vibe and the coworkers are fun. My issues lie within management because they can't run anything properly, we dont even get our tip-outs or breaks unless we ASK for it. NEW MANAGERS PLEASE

As I was a cashier at playdium, I learned how to process transactions and was trusted with the companies income on  a day to day basis. The workplace environment  was something I enjoyed and made friends with other cashiers. I am a very open person and enjoy working with people around me. The most enjoyable part of the job would be the interaction with customers. Seeing families with their kids coming in on weekends and enjoying and telling us cashiers their stories.

This was a great company to work for. Everyday got to show new clients how wonderful the facility was and why they should bring their companies to Playdium for team building events. The hardest part was generating new business, but it made me learn to look outside the box.

Worked there when it first opened and management was always nice about not making people over work or last minute schedules. Food and game discounts were a bonus and overall good management to floor worker communication. I had some issues with management into exactly where I was placed but otherwise a solid place to work especially for students.

a typical day at work would be very busy. What i learn from working at playdium is my leadership skills. management promoted me to a supervisor and i learn how to take lead of my team. management was hard but they could be fun at times.hardest part of my job was making orders and making sure we have enough items for our busy days.

Worked in Brampton location. Have never worked anywhere with even half the workplace drama this place has.  Managers suck, the pay sucks and they work you like a dog.

Customers were friendly and some co workers were cool but it’s overall a bad work environment and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are very young.

Playdium is a great place to work to gain experience as you get to experience many different types of customers. At playdium, we are taught health and safety, and standard guest service procedures. A great place to start off your workplace career.

Easy work, if you do your job and they like you you can advance pretty quickly. All the managers are really nice. Its a great summer job, though sometimes the hours suck because they either hire too many people or they sit around and wait for everyone to quit before they hire more people.

I've worked at Playdium since September 3 and since then enjoyed the environment and those who trained me there. Although its a great job opportunity, most of the associates, including myself, have not been getting any hours due to the time my location had opened, which was in the middle of September.

. Playdium gets pretty hectic, crowded and loud when it's in full swing.  Plus the games and entertainment is what i run when im working
