Plenty Of Fish

I started and ended up my time at Plenty of Fish (POF) during the pandemic. I worked from home the majority of time, but had the opportunity to go in to the office a few times. The office is such an amazing and inspiring space that has the most amazing views of Vancouver. The space is welcoming and inspires the fun, friendly and exciting culture that is POFLIFE. 

I was working on the administrative side creating positive and memorable experiences for the employees. The most challenging and also most rewarding part of the job was trying to come up with new and exciting ways to keep employees engaged and happy. The most enjoyable part of my time at POF was seeing how much care they put into creating amazing experiences for their team. 

Very good emphasis on the culture with outings and drinks and an easy to get along with team.

Very good place for someone fresh out of school as you'll get lots of work thrown at you and learn quickly.

Poor for long term growth as micromanagement style makes it difficult to learn necessary skill to mature in your profession and you may find yourself stuck in the same routine and not learning much after initial learning spurt.

POF is a pretty interesting place to work, the employee base is pretty small, which means you pretty much know everyone.  You need to be social, introverts will have trouble at a company like this.  The culture has changed slightly over the years, it used to be a place where you would work and play all at work, but over the years the employee base has become more family orientated and POF is trying to add that to the culture, slowly but surely.

This company is very fun to work at with their Happy hour every Friday, Fitness classes once or twice a week, and catered lunch and learn sessions twice a month. The work environment is pleasant with nice coworkers and very nice facilities. However, the salary is not good at all for this position even when you are the one who has to deal with very upset and rude customers over the phone.

I have work with the company sometime now and it is an amazing place to work, Management is understanding and helpful.
In my time at the company, I have learned a lot and it has helped me to decide where I would like to take the rest of my career as I have gotten to work with so many talented developers, business professionals, and Executive staff.

Full of great people and experiences. I would wake up in the morning with a grin on my face, have some pancakes & hit the road. I would enter the office and see the great view. Then I would work all day. You happy now indeed... don't force people to use this review thing it's starting to really annoy me.

The company culture is unmatched, perks are unbelivable, they really spoil us, and the work environment is extremely friendly and welcoming.
Its always moving really fast.

Best job I have ever had, if I did not relocate, I never would have left. You will not regret it if you are lucky enough to land a job with this company.

i didnt like the level of customer service they provided and it was an overall joke. sending out mass reply emails to customer with email targets off 700+ the job was somewhat enjoyable when they had inbound calls coming there but have since outsourced

Good place to learn a lot of different technologies.  The down side to this is that you don't get to become an SME on any of them.

Great team members and culture. Everyone works as a team.
