What is the best part of working at the company?
Good team across the board. Educated in product knowledge. Staff were happy.  If you keep your head down and focus on what's important, you'll succeed. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Stressful at some points as my plate was too full with all the quoting and revisions on top of new demands. As long as you answer your phone, keep organized and focused you'll do great.  If you don't have these skills you'll fall behind. If you're passionate about succeeding you'll work a few evenings and weekends. 
Not a big deal.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Its not bad! The ladies are busy and guys are hustling. Just do your job, be professional, show up and its solid. 

If there is politics or gossip in the office, then it's evident they dont have enough work to do.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It's different on the daily to be honest

While I enjoyed my day to day work and my close colleagues. The management is absolutely terrible. They are bullies, petty, and stuck up. They make you feel like you are nothing to the company. And that they are better than you. Full of drama and cliques. They called us just a number in the company. There is no advancement they will keep you at a base job and not allow you to excel because they want to keep you there. There is also no raises and the amount of pay is extremely low for the volume of work involved in the job. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Some of my co-workers were good. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Almost everything, but the executive team is the clear number one.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
As others have mentioned already, the culture is absolutely terrible and is toxic. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Looking over your shoulder wondering if you are going to be let go as it's an ongoing occurrence.

I've been with this company for a number of years and have worked in different areas within the organization.  The company, management, and coworkers are approachable, always offer help if needed, and its a fun environment.  The days can be stressful, as its a fast paced environment with no shortages of work to be done.  If you like a challenge, strive to be better each day, and love to be busy then its the place for you.

I wasn't there long enough to make an accurate review of this company, but the salary for my position was above average and work hours were standard, and I was not asked to stay late.  They do have a high turnover rate at many positions, though, so there appears to be some issues with management.  

Overall it was an average experience, and most of my co-workers were pretty good.  However I'd be hesitant to recommend the company as an employer due to possible management problems.

I've been with Plygem for 8 months. So far a great place to work. Lots of support from Upper Management. Company is growing fast so lots of work and overtime available if wanted. Big on safety which is cool. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for work. It is heavy lifting as they manufacture windows and doors but you don't have to go to the gym after work. Best part is the friendships I've made along the way.

you will start there making 15.25 never get a raise because of a union wage freeze and be laid off before you even make it through the 6 month probation period.
very depressing environment with management who don't care about you.

When I had issues with a co worker that thought he was the boss of the entire company, my direct (new and useless) manager did nothing. I brought this to the attention of HR (no good either) they did nothing as well. It's all about the boys club...pure and simple. I felt that the branch could've been a great place too work if they actually took care of the issues. Problem is nothing will change... you can try all you want but it won't! I would suggest you find some other place to work the pay isn't enough for the stress that's put on you.

Poorly run company filled with callous Managers, over-stressed under-trained supervisors, and employees who receive all but zero training to do their jobs. Worst and most abusive work environment I've ever had the displeasure of being involved with. There is really nothing I can say that is positive about working for this company. Even the cafeteria is left poorly cleaned and smells awful.

People are awesome but not the management or HR

Get pushed a lot and not enough money to support family, not enough vacation time of

Its busy and unorganized, do to to many boss in one department

Busy and stressful, cant go and do part-time work
