podollan is a fun place to work. we treat each other like families and we always push ourselves to meet the high satisfaction of our guests.  the hardest part of my job is when i encounter grumpy guest, misunderstanding them on what kind of help they need. but, i always put myself into their place and i always try to understand them and to give my utmost assistance to make them happy. the most enjoyable part of my job is to see them check out with a very big smile. on that smile you can tell, i was part of it.

I liked working there but always paid my tips to late taking over a month or longer. pay was alright but wasn't enough respect would ask for them to fix the sprayer never happened until I quit I couldn't deal with them just speaking there language, yelled at me to hand wash the dishes because he didn't want me spraying the dishes anymore I wasn't about to do that when I had a temporary fix for the sprayer.

Making the decision to leave and go back home

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Always a new adventure learning and sharing knowledge

My days working at the Podollan Inn. 
We would start by all making a game plan of what we were doing and what was expected. I would help out unloaded construction materials from the trucks. I would also help the trades people with the duites so I have learned basic skills in plumbing, carpentry and electric.  I really did enjoy my job at the Podollan but like I said the job was seasonal.

The management at The Podollan Inn and Spa is terrible. They pretend to care about the employees but the only thing they care about is making the customers think its a great place. They refuse to pay long term employees more than minimum wage. Management is dirt cheap and cant keep any promises to employees. But Kudos to all the staff who stay and work here when they deserve better.

management seem to increase workload on kitchen and do not care about staff   kitchen staff only some get breaks and have to cover everybody else's laziness no communication and too many staff in a not my job syndrome

I enjoyed my time here I did eventually leave because I wasn’t getting any hours toward the end. Good management awesome coworkers I worked on laundry and housekeeping fast paced environment would definitely recommend working here

I work Night Audit so I don't see management often, and it's not overly busy during the times I am there. Not to sure what else to say, I don't know much about the normal day to day business. I am usually alone or with one other person at night.

i had so much fun working here.  learned alot and met many different people.  went above and beyond for some hotel guests.
The managment and front desk as well as the rest of the staff made it a fun environmnet everyday

I did not like the managment of podollan. It was a stress 24 by 7. General manager was lacking people skills and did not know how to take care of his employee. Every single employee was overworked on daily basis.
