Overall the first 5 years was Fine  - learned a lot , worked hard , and felt supported by the original team managing the department . That all changed when new managers came in and destroyed the working culture in the team.  It stopped being a fun and rewarding place, where Admins (and others )  were respected for their knowledge and experience.   

Consultants , who frequently knew less than we did were brought in as "experts" and did what consultants do = collect information and present what we already know to senior management. 

Current middle management for the Admins treat Admins with benign neglect and exclusion. We were no longer part of the decision processes and not consulted on key SF issues .  Those who are consulted frequently have less SF knowledge than junior admins. 

The hardest part of the job - is getting information from management to allow you to do your job effectively. Also - being asked to train  consultants' staff  who the company is paying  $$$$ / hr , who should already know what you are telling them.

The most enjoyable part of the job  - solving actual business problems for clients and working and continuous learning in  Salesforce 

Your experience at PCC will depend 100% on what team you are on and who leads it.  At a high level, it's a great place to be.  But if you end up working for the wrong leader - WATCH OUT.  Some departments are so insanely toxic because they have leaders who are on power trips - unfortunately, the C-Suite has rose colored glasses on when it comes to their chosen leaders, so the behavior goes unchecked.  Sure, the balance is great and it's fun to have a beer machine in the office, but you're going to need more than a free beer each day if you wind up on the wrong team.  Some people are on good teams and will never leave the company, which is great.  Meanwhile, I've seen multiple people have actual medically diagnosed breakdowns and have to go on medication due to being on a bad team.

The company really tries to create an exceptional work environment, free lunches, exercise programs onsite, etc... However the biggest problem with this place is that it does not have the seasoned leadership that can handle the enormous growth that the company is undergoing.  Unfortunately some employees see this as an opportunity to advance themselves and victimize others.  This makes for an unnecessarily poor work environment which is really unfortunate.  I learnt a lot there and am better for the experience but as things are now (or until the management is able to acknowledge these shortcomings and take steps to correct them) I would not recommend  PCC as a good place to work.

Entry level job. When I started, my manager said, good luck. It was as if I wasn't expected to succeed, or that many others have failed. I had a poor experience with the manager because of how she would message me in a condescending manner and accuse me of not working when there was a technical issue. I would ask frequently if I was meeting goals, and my manager said I was doing average. No real encouragement. Just waiting for you to fail. I thought I was overreacting but it happened more than once. I left that job after 3 months. It is a high volume call center job, so you are glued to your chair all day even if you work remotely. Numbers are all that matter. The company is pretty awesome and organized as a whole. I just didn't get along with the manager. She no longer works there.

Great company depending which department you worked for and who your manager was. Lots of favouritism between upper management and staff. Newer managers have destroyed the culture. They take a ride on the coattails of the employees who have busted their butts to help the company get to where they are. They will sell you on the culture but if you work  in Enablement sector of the company, it is very cliquey 

I worked for PCC for almost 2 years before I was Let go Without Cause. I was told one day that I was done working here and if I wanted to know why Id have to ask my manager, then i was ejected from the building without being able to get my own belongings, which were mailed to me some time later. I contacted my manager several times over the next few days and received no reply ever. My co-workers were great people but the business goals of the company as a whole does not seem to care for the individual.

PCC truly prides itself on company culture, which sets us apart from all other companies. Work/Life balance is huge, especially due to the fact that two brothers founded the company and treat their organization like a family.

A typical work day is back to back meetings which leaves you finishing your actual work after hours at home.  There is a culture of constant changes because they want to do what Google does and be seen on Google's level, so they are constantly changing direction to keep up and that is more their motivator than what is actually right for them at the time.  The culture is ok, but they are really selling themselves on their great perks more than the actual culture, they are not one in the same.  I'd say that underneath the pretty packaging the culture is pretty standard for an organization of it's size.

- The day to day is quite flexible
- The work itself is good work - we are helping seniors in an industry that doesn't have a lot of resources helping seniors. The work is fulfilling (actually something I grew to care about as it wasn't a need of mine when I joined)
- The most enjoyable parts of the job are working with good people to build a product that is an industry leader (it's nice working for number 1). 
- The growth can sometimes be a challenge, but it's better than the alternatives.

Not the best place to work for experienced professionals.  It is a place where managers and senior management take personal favourites and issues over skill and committment.  If you are not part of the in crowd or part of the family or related to the owners, kiss your advancement or progress goodbye. Otherwise, if you are looking for a place to work 9-5 and do same thing everyday with the odd new thing here and there then it is a place for you.  Just be sure you get personal with your manager and then you have a safety new.  Senior managers and execs do not like to listen to your ideas unless you are their friend or a member of the family.
