the first day i started the job, i was quiet nurvous coz i did"nt know anything about the company and production even how to operate a thermoforming machine. but thank god my trainer was a very generous and kind lady who taught me almost every thing in a week in a very friendly manner. i did"nt even realise when i found myself very comfortable with different kind of machines. even my seniors co-workers were too, very helpfull in every manner. somany time i found someone at my neighbouring machine to help me when i am in trouble. the hardest part of the job was the A-B PRODUCTS, where you have to be very sure wether the stack is made of A-B FORMATION. it was enjoyable when the machine was making right stacks but was almost worst when the machine was"nt making stacks and causing a lot of haste and trouble to handle the product.

management very cheap,workplace culture is muslim,hard job.,long hours.(12.25 Hours) company pay 11.25 hours pay company pay only 20 minutes as per ministry of labour minimum rules. holiday pay as per minimum 8 hour pay . employee to and fro, lots of overtime for senior employee because of union environment union collect only union due from employee they will not give any service to employee. company not giving training to new emp. high risk of accident for new employee. company playing game against employee and pay lower pay every year.very very cheap senior emp. and management

Pay and benefits are great if you’re office staff. But, if you take into account the amount of hours you have to put in, you lose in the end. This is a 60hr a week company.  Very poorly organized and managed. Lack of staffing, product and team work. Constant chasing after everyone trying to meet demands.  Many changes of ownership makes the environment unstable an unpredictable.  Biggest problem is a resistance to change.

All work is easy and polarpak is good company with good staff

Inventory time is stressful part but work is easy

Nothing  special  now be slow down in company hire person send at home after 3hours done

Very dirty nd very hot temperatures in company very bad lunch room like that


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Many days not a singal day all of dat

The position was challenging but stimulated growth, the workplace culture was great and management was approachable. A typical day was fast paced and packed with administrative duties. I learned a ton about how to plan, do, check, act. My direct manager was an amazing mentor, very skilled and yet fun at the same time.

Most enjoyable part was how comfortable and accepted I felt there by everyone. A very welcoming culture!

I work 12 hours a day. But it is not boring because we have so many things to do at a time like check quality of product as well as safety first while working. Co-operate with other workers. Hardest part of the job is sometimes when everyone is busy and I cannot ask for help, I have to arrange myself. The most enjoyable part is when everyone works together and finish the target on time everyone is happy.

Dynamic, multi tasking results oriented environment . Lean manufacturing . Good blend of working  with experienced and new team members. Learning is always in the air at Polar Pak. Everyday brings  tapping on newer methodologies of new members and pulling from plethora of knowledge and techniques from the long term experience employees. Camadarie amongst the team members is one of the strengths of this working place.

Polar-Pak is a very Multicultural and friendly place to work.

it has  a good balance of work and fun and you feel as if you are working among family.

a great place to work and learn as the company take pride in constantly updating and taring you as an employee to be your best in the work force.

Overall this manufacturing complex gave me a healthy and positive sense of truly belonging to a team effort for success.  The training they provide and the in house meetings intended to keep everyone updated on the entire companies progress truly afforded one the sense of belonging.
