What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I did not personally experience any particularly stressful aspects beyond the normal challenges associated with research work and project deadlines.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment at Polytechnique Montréal is generally collaborative, research-oriented, and academically focused. It benefits from an isolated calm and productive research environment equipped with state-of-the-art simulation, fabrication, test and measurement tools  with access to sub-micron semiconductor design kits and process technologies.

This was my first work experiences in my field of interest. 
I liked the flexible hours and the lenient deadlines but always felt a lack of pressure when it came to the project i was handed.

Competitive context with highly  skilled individuals.
You will be working with driven people that want to be successful. It is a rich environment that can give you all means to succeed however it is a stressful place. 

I am s happy to have a exprience at this place. There is a lot of equipment and component for working on them such as Boiler ,chillers , ventilation system and all components related to above system.

i have accomplished alot going to that university. I learnt new things every day although it was challenging. Studying and working there is great, i overall really enjoyed it.

Low pay and high stress job (which is normal for PhD). Choose your supervisor carefully. Minimum financial aid for PhD students is well below the poverty line. The school should enforce higher salaries for PhDs.

I think that Polytechnique school is a very good place to develop your autonomy skills and also to establish a good contacts network. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great place to do research work and friendly environment. Students from all around the world work together, cultural diversity is noticeable.

as a research assistant you don't have a proper contract and no support. the pay is poor and the environment is not what you expect from an academic environment. horrible supervisors.
