Pomeroy is a great company and beautif hotel but ... The 8 months I was there it was so unorganized and the fist manager was a guy guy no and even took away the muffins for the breaskfast which is they're brand and big piece of the offer for breakfast.....then he would get pizza lazy to cook then  a real meal .then they send in as women who had no clue screwed up.orders off fruit and food for breakfast got to be anyways I quit to disorganized and she has no idea what she

Every place has issues but the right people can make a work environment so enjoyable you forget the rest. 
Banquets at the GP Pomeroy is a great place to be if you have a positive attitude and aren't afraid of heavy lifting. Get to know the bartenders, they're always down for some impromptu sing-alongs. 
The Office is a nice, intimate restaurant with a stellar group of servers who always work as a team. 
The supervisors and management that have been there for the long haul are some of the best people you'll meet and are always receptive you staff input.

The atmosphere is so positive and we are all a team. There is no drama and the management treats you like a person

When there is to much to do and no time

Very positive and smiles all the way around it is a great company

Doing general maintenance and taking care of the pool and hot tub

Working at Pomeroy has been a wonderful opportunity. The environment is warm, welcoming, and truly feels like being part of a family. The team—especially in the Front Desk—is led by a very hands-on Manager who offers great guidance and support. If you enjoy working on reports and have a keen eye for detail, this is definitely the right job for you. I’m grateful to be part of such a positive and supportive workplace.

I really enjoyed my time with the general staff at the Pomeroy inn and suites. All of them were easy to get along with and good workers. Unfortunately the managers really did not have a lot of experience and one in particular had some very biased outllooks which caused a lot of issues in the last few months of my employment

If you work hard and get the job done plus more, usually you would get noticed. In this place, the manager at the time was definitely against women, he thought they needed to know where their place was. I did the same job as one of the guys there, for longer, and considerably better yet the man was paid 5 dollars an hour more than me... EVEN WHEN I TRAINED HIM!

Constant changes in management and the way things were done hard to follow or to feel confident in what you were doing. Seems you were always doing something wrong.

Olds location is horrendous to work at. The management team’s drama/fights brings down staff moral. The Head Chef creates too much chaos between staff, blames her mistakes on her staff, under pays for the cost of living and how understaffed they are. 

If they would get rid of the root problem, there would be a 100% improvement on this place

I've had some ups and downs with this company over my time working here but since we got new management it has made this place a great place to work. The shifts are split between quiet and calm and crazy fast paced so you get a little of everything.  the hotel team is fun to work with and I enjoy working with the management team as well.

Management up and moved one weekend, place has been an unorganized mess ever since. Constant scheduling issues, no days off, long hours. When problems occur unable to contact anyone for help.
