. Get more experience working long shifts, to maintain customer service etiquette/attitude 
. Meeting a lot of energetic/kind people and becoming more of a team player
. Maintaining a safe environment for customers/self/workers in kitchen
. More focused and experienced with time-management, other techniques given by chefs/servers/other workers 
. Some days stressful in morning/afternoon and slows down by night

Port Restaurant is my second home. I enjoyed working at this restaurant because of people I’m working with. I love my managers both front and back of the house, they are very supportive and gives you opportunity to grow. Workplace culture is phenomenal! 

The hardest Part of the job is during service because they are always fullhouse!



you are just a number to the "celebrity chef" Eric wood.what a tool. bad pay, bad hours and the expectation to care about your job despite being treated with no respect and complete distaste by the chefs. save yourself some time.

co op nice people nice environment and pushed you to meet goals and achievement .. most days i would start by prepping for the night shift and help on the line if needed 

I would not recommend this place of employment to anyone. The workplace is toxic, and poorly managed. The food has gone really down hill. Equipment is extremely dirty and half of it doesn't work.

While I was there the staff was like one big family, including the management which I've noticed is quite rare. 
Great energy, fast paced, great food!

Well run restaurant with a focus on great food and classic cocktails. Best Patio in the GTA means a popular and successful restaurant to learn and grow!

Port is a fast paced restaurant and management really tries to support their staff. You get to work with some great people while having the ability to grow in the service industry.
