don't need gym membership when working this job always in out of trucks  in out of heavy equipment learning about building 3406,3408,3412 engines learning everything from ground up about  heavy equipment making decisions about where to get major parts either built or ordered when left in charge

a typicle  day at work was very busy. it was an old school way of learning how to build roads properly. if you couldnt retain the information properly then you didnt go far. wich is nice cause you worked with experinced operators and could keep learning new thing.

Safety doesn't mean anything to this company just get in an move dirt!! NO drug or alcohol testing for this company. Machinery not fit to work on I have nothing good to say about this company at all!!!

I really liked working for prairie road builders it was 24 hours a day shift work and they ran there crews very well to keep everyone working safely and doing good work

I would have continued working for the company but they moved to the United States.
I worked 7 days a week from 5 weeks to 3 months at a time.
I had no complaints as I do not mind working long hours.

This company could be a great company if they had better Foreman's. However it was fun to work there all the time. I enjoyed the very very fast pace. Very competitive pay.

Fun, busy days, good camps, good workmates,, two breaks of 20 min, not 21!
  Do your job and no worries.
Learn how to move lots of dirt fast and efficiently.

Long 12hr days (2x 20 min breaks), opportunity to advance for the right people. Big, OLD machines and losta black smoke.
