If your looking for a short term (less than 2 years) job, this is a good place. Decent starting wage, the work isn't too difficult, and they will give you your forklift certification if you do not have one. Guaranteed 40 hours a week with only 1 or 2 overnight shifts each year, and they are flexible if you need to have a doctors appointment or something. You will almost never see upper level management unless you go looking for them (which is just fine), but your supervisors are on the floor with you. The only downside is no real room for advancement, and besides your 1-2% increase to match inflation, there isn't any pay raises. But if your competent and have a tiny bit of initiative, you will be left alone to do your work most of the time.

The environment was phenomenal unless you worked with two specific people. They would target me and be disrespectful and rude. I was trying to learn and instead of encouragement when I did well they would only focus on my mistakes. When something was done wrong I was the first to be blamed regardless of if I did it or not. Made me not want to go to work. These two people were overall disliked and tormented many of my coworkers. One was a supervisor. Besides these two individuals management was very relaxed and made me feel welcome. However, because of the consistency of those two terrors, I would not recommend working at Prairieland. I was warned and I didn’t listen. I should have.

The workplace is very strong based communicated company I've ever worked for. This place is full of acceptance, very well organized and on top of communication. The supervisor checking in on the group(s) a lot, making sure of people safety was reassuring. If something happened to one person, they went around and told the groups to make sure to do this and that, to prevent this and that. I loved how opened it is. Makes you feel wanted and important. People in general are understanding, kind and generous.

jobs are fun and enjoyable, excellent group of employees to work with, allowed to work in different areas, training provided for different positions, management is approachable and willing to listen to the employees, company encourages employees to make suggestions for better ways to improve on things

I enjoyed working the variety of jobs and with the great people in the food and beverage area. I learned a lot about setting a table for a banquet that I never knew before, and now know a lot more about the shear amount of work required in setting up trade shows, high school grads and banquets. This is a well run crew, good, hard working people.

Employees there are super bossy and likes to bother workers constantly. 
A typical work hours ran until super late like 2 am and it was super exhausting since it was also an 8-hour long shifts. Overall working condition and culture is very poor I would say, especially that now I have a new job and the working condition here is so much better.

Working here is fine if you like working casual hours. Often I do not get any shifts because I have turned down a few here and there. They do training on the job and it is difficult to learn in a fast paced environment. Workin here is great during the summer and if you are looking for a few hours here and there.

overall enjoyable experience, good weekend work for students, not difficult, management really cared. Got into the Saskatoon exhibition for free, really relaxed dress code just no ripped jeans. racetracks aren't running here anymore but if they were, I would probably go back, good tips and every night was different. 

This was by far the best place I have worked. it was constantly being cleaned and was a very fast environment. management was all ways there to make sure things were being done right and theat things were always going to the right places. ran between 3 and 4 functions a shift, with many different items.

I helped guide cars to the right area to park.
I learned how to be patient and work quick.
The management was wonderful they made sure we knew what we were doing and that we were always hydrated.
The hardest part of the job was standing in the sun for long hours.
The most enjoyable part of the job was getting to meet new people.
