I would not recommend for anyone  if you wanna keep your sanity or health. They don't care at all.. about you managers will push you into until you cant even walk anymore with the workload so they can sit all day or doesn't even show up because  they are salaried and they do the payroll..and we all knew that they are playing with it but of course higher ups or hr doesnt care...they tell you don't deserve anything even when you gave up your whole life,the most Important is their bonuses..nothing else matters , it was my worst decision ever that I stayed so long this company only gave me depression and an autoimmune disease, the money is enough to pay my rent than starve all month but at least the managers get 25k in bonuses every year
If I don't have those couple of good co workers I would have offed myself a long time ago thanks to premier inn and the best managers ever


The night before my shift id feel psychically sick checking to see who i'm working with as the atmosphere around certain members was disgusting id find myself locking myself away in the room and rushing around to get out of that place. The work place made me feel so poorly i'd often find myself ringing in sick a lot just because of the people at Premier Inn which includes both Housekeeping and Receptionist members. Always made to help others when i've finished my rooms yet never any help given towards me when i had the MOST rooms out of everyone and the MOST family rooms out of the members which made me feel singled out a lot. If you want to be put in a position of feeling psychically sick and not wanting to go to work then great work for Premier Inn Grimsby! Management is poor and lack of communication throughout the whole year i was working here.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing this is an absolutely terrible place to work managers tolerate bulling and do nothing about it (because they are bullies there self's) steal holiday days off you and show no support with anything

All of it everyday your whole 8 hour shift 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
managers are bullies and let the staff do it as well and just gets brushed under carpet by higher management 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Horrible reception staff having to strip beds for housekeeping and go work over in the pub to help with breakfast and always getting called back to reception as guest want you

Premier Inn is getting into culture of saving a lots of money on labour, so you will end up running breakfast, checking your guests in, cleaning rooms, taking deliveries and everything else as you will not have sometimes any TM on the duty. HR processes are very old fashion and not very supportive, rather selective based what country is your passport form. I would never recommend to anybody to work in Premier Inn longer or thinking about the career there unless you are British or member of some Union.Just consider that you will only be treated as a number.

Loved the job, just hated the team I worked with! 
Managers lazy and delegate their jobs to other staff members
Housekeepers working there that shouldn’t be due to not providing clean rooms, bullying other team members (which were ignored when mentioned to managers) 
No appreciation for job you do, always criticise bad work, but never praised when going above and beyond!
Long, busy, stressful days for minimum wage!
If you want a job where your stressed, tired, and not listened to by management, then this is the job for you!!!

You often work more than you're paid for, with tight deadlines and little recognition for hard work.
Housekeeping is already a physically demanding job with set target times. It's unclear why additional scoring is necessary. There seems to be little understanding of how challenging the job is for subordinates.

Nothing is good about working for premier inn 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Everything. Having to deal with managers that are bullies and incapable of doing their job.

Horrible, 2 faced environment.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Awful, when your on shift your worried the next person will turn up for their shift if they don't your expected to work a 16 hour shift. Management don't like to find cover.

Loved my job until new manager started
Bullied out of my role. So I left .
Changed everything. Very inflexible with working round single parents and kids.
No choice in what u were working. No weekends off.
Benefits were good.
 Pay was ok. For  nights and lonely working on reception was not very good.
Female workers work alone at night and evening shifts. Didn't feel safe
Would never work for them again. Grievance procedure  not taken seriously no one listens to the problems or what causes them.

Management do not care at all, As long as there is someone at the desk. Expected to be a Receptionist, Cleaner, Security Guard, Car park Cleaner, Social worker for "Guests" The list goes on. Managers bending ALL the rules concerning Health and safety / Working hours / Breaks etc. 
Money is poor for what is expected. Lone working in charge of 200 guest with no support at all should anything go wrong. No career prospects unless you are a managers friend.  Not recommended apart from a fill in between a proper job.

One year in and I'm disgusted by the management. Total lack of communication and was told to "just get on with it" when I asked for help. Way too many other examples to add to this. I'm writing this due to today's events that I am fuming about! Sick and tired of being made to feel guilty for the incompetence of another. Management does not care as long as they hit their targets.
