Job was easy to pickup and get the hang of, the manager is great and very respectful and makes hours flexible. The assistant manager is very good at giving instructions but can often times be rude or condescending. A few employees are great and very nice, but most are very hard to get along with. A lot of gossip and talking behind peoples backs happens for no discernable reason and makes tolerating these employees very difficult. Its made worse by the fact that some of them are Key Holders. This makes coming to work very hard sometimes as you feel that you are not wanted there by some employees. In finishing the store is managed very well and is a great place to work for a first job but not a good place to stay long term.

Staff is nice, but there is no motivation from management to make this the best store. Manager goes for 10+ smoke breaks every shift and expects the employees to follow the organization's rules but not themselves. Hard job to take seriously when management doesn't, but the staff work hard and respect the place and others time at least. No proper training done either. Also complaints will not be taken care of when sent to district manager. Just a heads up, you are required to arrive for your shift an extra 10 minutes early and 20-30 min after closing because your break is not paid. COVID workplace precautions were not taken seriously at the beginning, but are now improving.

I have worked at Premium Label Langley for over 7 months. It was my first job in retail and despite taking it lightly from the beginning, I really got into it. The management change in the middle of my employment with PLL definitely helped to turn things towards better as the environment got more friendly and less toxic and I greatly appreciate that. It is an easy job on all levels and even though you might not have any experience, do not be afraid to apply. I highly recommend this as your first job ever because you can learn a great deal about how to deal with customers and how to get around and along with other people. 

Awesome workplace if you're in highschool and still live at home with mom & dad, have no responsibilities or bills to pay. The job is kind of a joke. No one can live off of minimum wage 8 hours a week. Not to mention the people who work here are extremely immature, and have very poor people skills. Management sucks, they're all friends...take no responsibility to their tardiness and how poorly they treat their fellow employees... because if you're friends with the manager than it's "okay" to treat your coworkers like lesser beings (aka like craaap)

The manager in charge of the location I worked for was, and still is, an embarrassment. Racist, downgrading, rude, demanding, and probably the worst gossip I have ever had to work with. The stories i have are endless. I ended up leaving crushed, hurt, and frustrated, becuase I tried to talk to my manager about my feelings, which instead were thrown directly back in my face. I can count on one hand the employees that chose to stick around compared to the ones that had had enough and got out of there. In a small town like mine, word spreads quick. This store does not have a good reputation to work for.

I love working there, everyone i work with are friendly, customer service is nice. enjoyed helping people find what they needed. I've learned a lot more about customer service and better ways to up-sell products,i've learned more about different types of products i didn't know before.

Premium label outlet is a fun and exciting place to work. it is very lay'ed back and casual. it would be a perfect place for a first job or part time, although there is a lot of drama that goes down in the work place. the management favorites certain employee's including each other. Overall it can be a fun place to work, but management can be unfair and do not communicate well

I loved working at Premium Label. Made some really good friends there and learned a lot about customer service and the retail industry. Consistently busy throughout most of the year, with some slow periods, but overall a good place to work.

I met many new friends on the job and enjoyed most of my time there however once people started to get fired unlawfully, the rest of us quit and the establishment has been struggling to find good workers, becoming desperate.

Excellent job while going to school or as a second job. Part-time flexible hours, amazing and easy to get along with staff/management, no pressure, fun, teamwork skills building, and overall a great place to work. Definitely enjoyed my time there.
