Pret A Manger

I work part time, mostly in the closing shifts at Pret, and this shop has taught me well on how to manage many tasks at once, use teamwork to my advantage and how to try and keep cool under pressure. It has taught me how I can try turning negative events into positive ones specifically in terms of customer service and it has taught me how to better prioritise my workload.
Many of the staff, including my boss, are lovely people and most of the customers that visit are happy and friendly people too which is always a bonus.

However, there are times that a few of my colleges have gotten angry with me about not being attentive enough, even when I've done well to hold up my parts of workloads and they themselves have made those self-same mistakes in front of me.
If I make even one mistake or stop being aware of 5 things at once whilst also doing something else, I'll be lectured on what I'm doing wrong.
Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with constructive criticism and will take any advice on-board, but being constantly told by colleges that I'm "still slow" or I "don't pay enough attention", even when I've visibly made improvements that even my boss has noticed, is rather draining and does end up making me dread going into work.

I loved my job so much I was so happy for two and a half years then we get 3 new managers and 30 new team members to train within 1 year everything is unorganised new people are lazy and don’t listen to feedback. I would have stayed if I could change shops but was told minimum 4 weeks maximum 5 months. I couldn’t wait in the toxic environment anymore so had to go

Doing 7 different things at a time. I didn't learn anything. Management needs to learn how to manage, treat people with respect and know there job. Hardest part of working here is that they're very understaffed and its a very unhealthy atmosphere. Most enjoyable part of the job was a couple coworkers. 

I didnt enjoy time there. I started apprenteceship and was ignored a lot of the time there. Maybe Im to young and very stressed place to work every day. I enjoyd the food and thats it.

Although you can gain knowllege and experience in this company, the organitation climate does not match with the basic needs an employee needs.

Love Pret! you have to work hard and smile hard everyday.

It was great place to work at , good team work , great food nd fresh , quality is good and cleaniningless ,  amazing people to work with , they know what they are doing

Busy job and on demand. If the shop not many customer come, they will ask any one want to go home - cut your hours.

The colleague are nice and helpful.
