At first this company was great - there is an HR department, there are appreciation events like anniversary lunches or social outings, and sometimes company-branded items like apparel were given to us freely. Everyone for the most part is pretty nice and willing to assist when needed. Medical benefits are pretty good, including things such as coverage for glasses and even chiropractor/naturopath (but these only kick in after 1 year of employment due to turnover). However, when they entered a period of low revenue, they continued blowing money on workshops with a company that would come in and teach us about helpful skills in the workplace like communication and then not do anything to implement these teachings even though we desperately needed for that to happen, and also continued getting in branded apparel. It's nice to get free stuff when they have the money, but if it's between laying off employees and buying them logo t-shirts, they should be picking the latter. Pay isn't bad and they give yearly raises based on performance review, but don't expect to be compensated for additional job duties given to you when they lay people off and dump all their duties on you. Also, the few people that are miserable/difficult to work with (being intentionally unresponsive to emails, taking shortcuts and skipping proper processes, contributing to/exacerbating conflict in the workplace etc) see virtually no discipline and don't change their ways and continue to make work incredibly frustrating for others that have to deal with them.

I love working at Pride Signs; the environment in this office is unmatched! It’s always professional but never without laughter, which makes every day enjoyable. A typical day involves coordinating projects, communicating with clients, and supporting the team to meet deadlines efficiently. I’ve learned so much about teamwork, time management, and adapting to unexpected challenges, which has helped me grow both personally and professionally. Management is incredibly supportive and approachable, fostering a positive environment where questions and new ideas are welcomed. The workplace culture emphasizes collaboration, respect, and maintaining a sense of humour even during busy periods. The hardest part of the job is juggling multiple tasks at once and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. However, the most enjoyable part is helping clients bring their visions to life and seeing the team succeed together—it makes every effort worth it.

This is a dead zone. Nothing grows here. Not aspirations, not wages, and certainly not careers.
Any sort of ladder you would hope to climb resembles more of a stepstool, but it is a stepstool people actively fight to not be on. 
The business runs on blame as if it were a form of currency. A lot of the lifers there actually take joy in blindsiding you with new or obscure rules as an attempt to make themselves look more competent. They keep people in the dark constantly.
The company itself might actually be bearable, if it didn't plaster its 'values' all over the walls as some sort of twisted virtue signal. Always talking about how much they care for and celebrate their employees, without ever actually putting in any effort to prove that, save for a couple Gold Star stickers in the lunchroom. Its just there to look plateable to new faces coming through on a tour.
This place is a waking nightmare.

Pride signs is a very good place to work, with a well defined workflow structure and excellent work-sharing and collaboration during busy times. 

The busy times can be overwhelming at first, but once you learn that everybody is working together to get things done on schedule; you get to focus on the good things while at work. These good things are the people, Pride has a family feel where everybody get's along & will take the time to teach, socialize & support you. 

Creativity, especially in the engineering department is excellent. No sign is designed the exact same, & with 30+ years of experience they really do know their product.

Great place to work, usually busy so you're never just standing around. The supervisors try and work you best they can.

A typical day at work is well-organized and positive, with supportive colleagues who are always ready to help. I have learned new skills, teamwork, and how to work efficiently without pressure. Management is kind, understanding, and very supportive, making everyone feel valued. The workplace culture feels like a family, which motivates us to work harder and enjoy our roles. The hardest part of the job is managing tasks during busy periods, while the most enjoyable part is working with such a friendly team in a stress-free environment.

It was the most unprofessional office environment I ever experienced, I think because they are a manufacturer first. For example, you have to scan in & out and don't get flexible time, yet you are expected to cover after hours, for no extra pay, while the shop staff are paid for every minute. Also, you get limited benefits after 3 months, you have to work 1 YEAR until full benefits, because of high turnover.  The best employees leave quickly and the worst gets the promotions, as the more senior managers were a nightmare to work with. 

Excellent company culture, The management tries really hard to engage employees and provide lots of training and company events; there are always having luncheons and outside training going on and they try really hard to live out their company mission and values.  I have read lots of negative reviews on here, which I do not understand, but they look to be employees who have left probably for performance issues; they are usually the ones to review.
