They seemed alright at first. However as time went by
started I noticed how disorganized and how terrible their
communication was. They seem super shady, when you try
to address an any issues, they deflect, lie and find any
excuse to lay you off. The Crew were was super solid.
Management was mediocre at best. The HR department is
laughable, don't expect much from them cause you'll end
up utterly disappointed. If you like being belittled on the
phone with them and listen to their snarky comments as
they "attempt to resolve any issues". They leave you feeling
disappointed and insulted[they hang up in the middle of a
phone call] (These are the people for you). They promised
us lots of work, we only worked half a week and then
suddenly there wasn't any work.
They don't like people who stand up for themselves.
RUN AWAY, AS FAST AS YOU CAN IN THE OPPOSITE
DIRECTION. Trust me you can do Sooooo much better and
you won't waste your time sitting around and dealing with
their incompetency. They don't deserve any stars, I had give
them a star, but wish there was a option to opt out to give stars.

Started in sept of 2022 and when hired, I was told that a 1 week, 2-week and a 3 month review were going to be completed. None of those were done. I was promised a signing bonus(had to fight tooth and nail to get) and a raise(never got it) which is why I had to leave. I have them a months notice, that I would like to re-evaluate my position and pay. Was ignored by email to HR, left a VM with a big boss of the Alberta side, no response. The lack of respect for an employee who always went over and beyond what was needed, and I was proud to stay and work if that had not happened. I didn’t ask for a raise, they stated I would get a raise after 3 months, they lied to me to get me hired, then ignored me until I had to leave. I learned so much from priestly and would gladly work for them again, sadly I don’t see them being able to swallow their pride and sit and talk with me. 

This company has some of the worst professionalism I've seen in any work environment, ranging from the top execs right down to my level. My direct manager is incapable of making sound business decisions, and is both directly and indirectly affecting the income of his department. There is zero employee morale.  They are beyond cheap - paying only the higher level employees (ie. the family that runs it and top level employees). The only thing I could positively say about this job is that the hours are good and the job itself is easy. Would NEVER suggest anyone to ever work for them. I learned nothing while I was there.

Worked there  as a driver and was always asked to perform unsafe tasks. You will be asked to worked irregular hours starting at 2-3 am and they will switch you from day shift and afternoon or nights in middle of week and then back again 
the atmosphere is toxic and they look for and reason to get rid of you plus the pay structure is base at everyone cuts there own deal no loyalty or support I highly recommend that anyone considering this position to think twice 
The general manager is extremely difficult to work with and is feared and unliked by most employees 

Non knowledgeable & rude management.  Depended & other non professional so called supervisors . Non team player, with lack of training skills. Polices changed every hour to accommodate their personal needs. They did not take ownership of mistakes. They did not know what they wanted. No room for growth. Constant criticism. Management did not respond to questions and when they did they responded after days, it was a rude response. Never appreciated the referral yet paid other companies to provide low quality referrals. 

Working at PDI I have to say, it's been an outstanding experience from start to finish. The employees are not only skilled but also incredibly supportive, making every project a rewarding one. Workplace was incredibly hostile, upon arriving in the morning for tailboard the foreman yelled and swore at workers. Implimented job meetings before paid time. Water was not potable at jobsite, law states that water must be provided and they would go 3 days with no water for workers. When water was supplied it was rationed. Rampant drug use at job site, across all levels of workers. Job site was ran terribly, mistreated some staff and always threatened layoffs. Implicated new rules almost daily depending on the moods. Turnover was 75%.

I have been very lucky to find myself in this position, every aspect of this job is fun and exciting - it's always busy but worth it. The only concern would be the salary, mostly because of inflation and living paycheck to paycheck isn't easy. Benefits are amazing, zero complaints!
I have never been happier at any other job, and love all the management and team members I get to work with on a daily basis. 

I am so grateful for this job, and the people I work with.



Would have gladly stayed if not for the failure to do what they said they were going to do. Don’t tell anyone that they can’t and will receive a raise if that’s not the case. I stepped up and took the role, I did my part, I even gave them an opportunity to work with me, they rather pay base rate then pay to have someone who knows and actually understands the risk/worth behind it. Saftey at times is disregarded to get jobs done.

Growth oriented company with great brand and great potential while maintaining a positive family culture. Wonderful career opportunities in both office and skilled trade roles.
