The management is very buddy buddy, they have their favorites which makes it hard to feel comfortable addressing any issues. There was also a lot of double standards. For example; the desk associates had to wear very specific work attire but the supervisor (who also stayed at the desk) did not have to follow any rules. You are not aloud to do anything except sit there and wait for people or clean a small space. Can be very boring for people who enjoy staying busy. You also are never given the opportunity to work full time, and they want open availability. 

I was a FT Guest Services Representative. The job was great because you can interact with the public,  & offer a helping hand.

The job itself was easy to learn. You use basic Excel, Microsoft Word, and basic software to sell gift cards. Also, if you’re a FT employee, you do get benefits, which is nice. 

The management was very unfair towards the end & staff were difficult to work with. They made it seem like you weren’t doing your job, yet they were taking advantage of everything. 

As a Guest Service Representative at one of Primaris' malls, I really enjoy what I do.  Management offers friendly support and always asks if there anything they can do to help.  I love how vibrant the mall has become under Primaris.  The only downside is that wages start at minimum wage, but if you can get on full time the benefits are amazing.

Management. My manager was clueless and any good idea I had was taken as his

Run around like a headless chicken

The management are great. They are very supportive with the growth of the employees. They sent me to school to take courses to improve my knowledge about the business. A very good motivation for the team. I have no complaints at all The culture at workplace is great. Its just there's no full-time position currently available as of the moment.

Terrible management and workload. Lots of backstabbing and rudeness.
 No sense of belonging to a team dont waste your time working there.they expect you to work overtime with no additional pay and communication between staff depts is non existent 

A typical day at work included logging lost and found items, managing a multi-line phone system, giving directions to customers inside the mall and in the Kelowna area, as well as renting customers wheelchairs, strollers, scooters, and walkers. Overall a fun place to work in a fast-paced environment.
