Working with a private family as Caregiver of their Mom with Dementia is so far so good as they trust me  & appreciated my service to their Mom. Their house is accessible & big enough to be working around. 
Being their live - in full time worker I’m also given free accommodation to sleep at night. I’m also given free food & allowed to laundry my own clothes using their washing machine & drier with matching laundry soap as well. 
Respites are coming at daytime & it is my rest time as my schedule is at night time. The 2 daughters of our client have a house of their own & just visiting & coming to bring groceries & visiting their Mom or sometimes to bring their Mom to their house. 
I’ve work with the woman for 2 1/2  years.  It so happened that the doctor advised the 2 daughters to bring their Mom at the Nursing Home because lately their Mom is becoming weak due to some health issues. Somehow with my experience working with such kind of family, I can say it’s very rare to find such kind of people having an amazing kindness & goodness. 
 I got so stressful after & melancholy when my work ended. However, I accepted that nothing is permanent in this world. I need to keep moving & have a positive outlook in life that there’s still more nice employers I am to meet… God is good all the time! 🙏 🙏 🙏

What is the best part of working at the company?
Talking and listening with the client. Knowing that I am helping to keep his independence as much as possible as it is so important to him. Sharing time going on outings, knowing that I am making a difference in someone’s life, there is nothing I find more fulfilling.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There is not really anything stressful it is just hard when he has bad days and there is nothing I can do to make it better.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The environment is comfortable and supportive. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I help with ensuring the client has breakfast, talk with him while tidying up, making sure he has his medication at the right time and right dose. Help with getting his shirt on and if he is well enough we go for small walks or for lunch, otherwise we have lunch at home. We sometimes watch the news or listen to music, then I make sure everything is set up for the evening and take the garbage out, get groceries if he needs and pick up medication come back and talk a little more and then go home.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Taking care of the high medical needs people  like people with cerebral palsy and people with autism,high blood pressure and with cancer.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Nothing to be stressed about for me.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Seems you are belong with the family,they treat you well and appreciate your service,patience,compassion and dedication how you handle and manage those people with disabilities.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It was just a normal day to me everyday doing my job.

you can control your time management

There is no privacy because you are inside the house of your employers

close ties of family  and you only have one or to bosses no other co workers 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Monday until Fridays  and no day off because they can knock at your door anytime

You'l learn more  stable job? Good benifits  and connect with  people

When you just started your job  and sometimes the stressfull part when you work with selfish co worker

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
 To fucos what you need to get done

Worked with school age children which included preparation for school functions,cleaning of home,laundry,meal prep,and activities with children. I worked at least 2 days a week and also helped family with things outside home as well. I enjoyed this job immensely as the children were a absolute delight. I truly miss working there. 

I thoroughly enjoyed this position . It gave me a sense of happiness helping a senior be able to continue to live in the dignity of their own home and maintain their happiness. This job was very rewarding. 

Working at private family's was through family and friends as a babysitter. There was no set salary. I was paid fairly years ago. Now the children are older and do not require a babysitter.

fair pay, supportive, did not exploit me. provided accommodation. flexible time off and good communication. I had autonomy at my work place. fulfilling overall 

Most of my co-worker are nice and helpful. My manager, supervisors and assistance manager they’re easy to approach, they listened if you have concern.
